Muzen Sushi — Restaurant in Westlake Village

The food was amazing in taste, portion, and presentation! Every single course tasted clean and crisp; none of that unpleasant fishiness you get at some sushi spots. Muzen Sushi's portions are VERY generous. I wish I had more photos to prove it but I was too busy enjoying the food!!

As far as service goes, it was the most fun I had a sushi restaurant. It was possibly because we had 2 bottles of sake and the place wasn't packed at the time but our sushi man kept my friend and I entertained all throughout the meal!

I used to love Muzen Sushi and went at least twice a month, but I don’t go as often anymore because of inconsistency. I especially liked the Chirashi Donburi, but over time, the quality has become unpredictable. Sometimes the fish pieces are generous, other times they’re small. One time, the rice was even cold. In the beginning, everything was great, but over the past couple of years, the quality has definitely gone down. I really hope they can get back to the level they used to be at because I’d love to come...

Don't know how the food is, but they are certainly not very neighborly. I got a sandwich next door at Jersey Mike's and took it out to the seating area, which was EMPTY. Got my sandwich, chips, and drink out; but before I could take my first bite, a young man rushed out to tell be that the seating was for Muzen customers ONLY! I did not see any signs. There was no where else to sit except my truck. My wife and I were looking for a Sushi place... I guess we're still looking. Why can't we be...
