Hong Kong — Restaurant in Aiken County

Noticed there aren't many photos and the reviews are mixed so I decided to play it safe with dishes that can't be screwed up; small beef w/ broccoli, small chicken lo mein, and 8 chicken wings. Everything was cooked well and hot. White rice came with the beef w/ broccoli. Everything had flavor. Sweet tea was nice, glad they didn't add ice because some places overdo it. For all this I paid $28 and change which seems fair because that's two days of meals for me. Food was ready when I arrived for pickup. Order was correct. Cashier guy was cordial. Don't think I'll ever order the fried rice given that it's yellow and not what we're accustomed to experiencing in Augusta's Chinese restaurants but the yellow rice thing seems to be an issue at all Chinese restaurants in Aiken. Just went there and we ordered some food to bring home for the family. Spent $58.30 on our order. We ordered three almond chicken plates all three with shrimp fried rice, a honey chicken plate with shrimp fried rice and an order of veggie lo mein. All were supposed to have shrimp egg rolls. We get our order and go home. Come home open the containers to pass out to everybody nothing about our order was correct except for the lo mein. We got 3 shrimp plates, some other type of food and then the noodles. We ended up getting spring rolls instead of the shrimp egg rolls. To start with, they didn't cook the onions they put in the rice. The rice had zero flavor. The lemon pepper wings were just red wings with lemon pepper sprinkled on top. The teriyaki on a stick tasted like syrup. On top of all of that. The 3 sweet teas I got would have had to total about $3.50 each for it all to come out to almost $36. I get inflation based on supply and demand but that's a ridiculous price and if they've changed prices, their menus need to reflect that. I also saw a woman ask for extra spicy and they didn't use ANY spices on her food then she was made to feel as if she were in the wrong. I thought I was witnessing a Karen.
