Stopped here for lunch and it was amazing as always. I highly recommend the Chicken Chimichanga. Their salsa is great and they also offer Jamaica on their beverage menu. It is a traditional Mexican drink made from hibiscus flowers. Super good,!

Was a better food experience then most of Aiken's Mexican restaurants that I have eaten at. I had a Torta that was fresh. The hot parts were hot and the cold parts were cold and with the fresh bun made for a good eating experience.

The best southwest/mexican food in Aiken, SC. In a new location just a mile down the road off of Richland Ave just past the Knight's Inn. Claudia is the best waitress and the owner is the nicest guy!

I came down to spend time with my family we just had buried my lil cousin and was hungry so my sister suggested this place bec she eats here all the time well it started out ok at least I thought. So we asked for certain foods not to be on our plates because we're allergic to them.low and be hold as my sister is eating she finds a shrimp on her plate the waiter says it had 3 on the plate but the chief must have forgotten one on it so I asked him to repeat himself he said never mind and asked if my sister wanted them to make it over she said yes...mind you I kept asking them is it normal for the chief to stand in the kitchen window and watch people eat which was kinda strange so they both turn and looked he casually looked away so once my sister plate was taken bake to the back to be remade. We asked for the checks and thats when all hell broke lose they messed up the recipts I asked him could he put it all on one receipt he stated no and asked one of the young ladies if she knew how to do it she said no bec they have a new system and they cant do it like that which was crazy because they was trying to charge me taxes 3 different times and when we asked to speak to the manager the young lady called him she stated he was to busy to come talk us. Which was strange then she tells me the Manger said I didn't have to pay for my food I asked her to put that in writing she states he said leave your name and number and he will give me a call I said no ma'am I know how this may play out you will not call the police and say I didn't pay for my food. Which I have no problem paying for my food your not going to charge me 3 times the taxes instead of one time. So then the waiter comes over with the original recipt instead of trying to charge me 3 times which is where my issue came in the first place. So as we are leaving the restaurant the waiter comes outside and went to speak to the manger who was...

Tequilas is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. It’s ridiculously clean, and everyone is genuinely pleasant and nice. The servers, owners, cooks, host—they are ALL so nice. The restrooms are some of the cleanest in town, and the new location is really bright and well-decorated.

Now onto the food—best Mexican food around. We’ve never gotten anything we didn’t 100% enjoy, and the thing I appreciate most about Tequila’s is that they put effort into presentation. The taco salad always has a little purple cabbage and an orange slice that just adds that little extra touch. I know other restaurants in town have tried to add this, but Tequila’s just gets it right.

And a final little note of appreciation—one time I ordered food to-go, and when I got there the parking lot was packed. The owner was outside directing us where to park, and when I told him I was just there for a pick-up, he asked me if it was for Karen (my name) and knew my order. This was small and probably didn’t mean anything to him, but it showed me that he was integrally involved with all parts of the restaurant. He was working right alongside his employees, and the care he gives to his...

I had high hopes based all the good reviews, but man did this miss the mark for me. Atmosphere was not great, bright cold lights in the ceiling did not make for a good ambience. However when I arrived I was greeted immediately and seated by a very friendly server. The salsa was pretty good, but the chips were unsalted and overcooked. No salt on the table. No hot sauce either. I could have asked but I didn't. My draft Pacifico was good and served with a lime. I ordered the Mexicana Guacamole and had high hopes but it was bland and seemed to be missing salt and lime juice. Ingredients seemed fresh but had no flavor. The avocados weren't unripe but not really ripe either. The friendly server brought me limes but it didn't fix it. I ordered the Shrimp ceviche tostadas and another swing and a miss. I don't know why I ordered this but like I said I had high hopes from the reviews. This is the third Aiken Mexican place and I think I'm just done eating Mexican here. As an Atlanta transplant my tastes are just too...
