The host/waiter was extremely nice. The restaurant was the cleanest and most organized Mongolian BBQ place I'd ever been to. However, the selection of ingredients was lacking slightly which wasn't a big deal. The biggest letdown was the way the food was cooked. The cook put the food on the grill and even tho I had 7-8 ladles of sauce, put the food on the grill then filled my bowl with tap water and poured it on the food. This caused the flavors to be diluted and the meat/veg were kinda boiled and steamed rapidly making them chewy and an extreme disappointment. He used a long wooden stick to sort of keep the sauce on the grill table. It seemed as his main goal was to make sure he didn't have to clean up rather than focusing on making the food taste good. You should sear the food and then flip it over. Get a steam lid to put over it if you need to bring them temp up. DON'T PUT WATER ON MY FOOD AND SLOSH IT AROUND WITH A STICK! Get a scraper and clean the grill table after each dish. The pricing was listed in multiple spots. At the table at the buffet where you get the bowls etc. It was confusing and didn't make sense. We went thru 2 times and filled a ridiculously small bowl. We left unsatisfied and disappointed. $50 for two meals and waters. We will not be going back there ever again. The way the food was cooked was 0/10 technique. And the price was a slap in the face to send you...
Read moreGreat food selection and best sauces for the Mongolian grill in town. With Mongolian grill, the most important ingredients in your dish are the sauces as they define the taste of your food selection. The secret is to fill your plate with ingredients first and then to top it with sauces of your selection. Here is the quick guide: Stack frozen meat (beef, lamb, pork, chicken, or mix) at the bottom of your plate (push it hard to stack the max amount) Add veggies and other ingredients Add noodles or ramen on top of your selection Top your plate with sauces. I go with 1 spoon of Fire Oil, 1 spoon garlic, 3 spoons of burgundy wine, 3 spoons of plum sauce, 2 spoons of sweet and sour sauce, spoon of sesame oil. This is a 3 out of 5 stars spicy.
When cooked, add 3-4 pieces of cut tomatoes to your dish.
This particular Mongolian bbq in town is the only one I am going to after trying almost all of them, even if this one is far from my house. Other places have very dull tasting sauces, and the food has barely any taste.
The stuff here is super friendly, and atmosphere and entourage resemble Mongolian plains. You will find many airforce officers and airmen between the visitors of this place as there is a base not far from this place.
It's one of my favorite places in town....
Read moreI've been coming to this place since before I had my son, who is now almost 8 yrs old. When I did have him, there is a specific staff member who would always play with him and was just extra awesome everytime we came in! It's been 4 years or so since I have seen this staff member and Tuesday night when we went in with my son and my newborn daughter, he immediately recognized us and we talked and caught up. There isnt very many places where the service is so family like. All the staff members are extremely friendly. The facility is so clean. And the food is AMAZING. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I work in customer service, and I try my very hardest to give the best absolute service to all my customers. So when great customer service is given to me, I just appreciate it.so much more! Oh and I would like to mention the women who waited on us that night. Like i said we brought in my newborn daughter, and she was so considerate, constantly checking on us. She put us at a table where the AC was felt full force, and made sure every 10 min or so, to check on our daughter and her comfortability and for that I'm very thankful! We love this place, and the...
