Food is decent. Service is crappy. These guys definitely were not trained well in how to treat customers with respect, but most might think the food quality makes up for it. There are far worse Taco Bells in the Spokane area as far as the food goes. But these guys will have inappropriate conversations right in front of customers. The only thing that keeps me coming back is the food, but to be honest, as a customer service worker myself, I expect more from anyone working food or customer service. I think this place might need a manager who is a cleaner because there are good people who work here too, but I do not see them in a management position, which goes to show a lot about how corruptible management usually is in most places. I've noticed that in most places, but anyone in these places should strive to be the best in the service aspect. I've gone back to places where I felt appreciated, and I always eventually leave the ones that don't give me this feeling of respect. It's only common sense, and I hate leaving reviews like this, but it does seem to be the only way of having a slight chance of someone noticing what is going wrong. At the very least, I would like to see attitudes change from "here's your food, get out," to "here's your food, enjoy." I mean, I go there sometimes when they're not even busy, and they still look like they have better things to do than to at least pretend to be happy to assist customers. I’m a vegetarian and I ordered four black bean grilled cheese burritos for my husband and I at the drive thru on my way home after work. Got home and started to eat my burritos and they all had beef in them. Receipt clearly says black bean. This Taco Bell is 15 minutes away and not worth it to drive back so my husband called to tell the manager what happened and to make sure the staff reads orders correctly because I just wasted $20 on food I can’t eat. Manager on duty (young sounding female) said, “go to a different Taco Bell” when he said this has happened multiple times at this location. She also stated her staff does “everything correctly” and we “aren’t welcome there anymore” and then proceeded to hang up. There was ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. I have worked retail as a manager for the better part of a decade and one of the vital attributes as a manager in customer service is listening, understanding, and taking accountability for any wrongs. I have photo proof we got the incorrect food and there was no “I’m sorry,” “what can I do to make it right,” “let’s figure something out.” Nothing. Just a “go to a different Taco Bell.” This manager seemed very young and incredibly unprofessional and clearly lacks training. I feel like the staff here don’t take pride in what they do. Read moreUnbelievable. I went in on my lunch break. I was waiting 20 minutes for my order. (Patiently) I noticed two other people received their order before me, yet I was there 5 minutes before they were. I noticed. I asked. They dropped the ball. I just asked for my money back because my lunch break was basically over now. The employee got the General Manager , I told him this was unacceptable and I was irritated about this. He (the General Manager) said they're making my food now. I reminded him I just want my money back. He told me , "No , they're making ur order now" . I told him , "No , I just want my money back , I have to go." He reminded me again they're making my order and it'll be right up. Once again, I reminded him I want my money back that I had to leave. He said I was being rude by wanting my money back. I said then, "Give me my phuk'n money back". He said he was gonna call the cops. I advised him I'll wait for them to show up. (His scare tactic didn't work on me. Plus he didn't even call.) The GM tells me to leave the store and call ur corporate office and get my money back that way. I told him I wasn't leaving the store until I get my money back. Finally , my boss , a prominent business owner comes in to see what's happening. I explained, the GM explained and my boss reminded ur GM that his "power Trip behavior" is unacceptable in the business world and that he should give me back my refund and we just go our separate ways.
