Dutch Bros — Restaurant in Airway Heights

If I could have given it a half star, I would.

I went to the Airway Heights location with Dutch Bros doing a 4 drinks for $15 deal on March 29th. The line for the drive thru was 20 cars long as I expected, so I went up the window having to park in the movie theater parking lot. I wish I didn't even go. The music was playing so loud that the barista couldn't hear me three feet away from me. I typed it out on my phone that I wanted 4 hot chocolates with whipped cream. I waited for approx. 45 minutes due to the drive thru line which seemed to get preference as about 10-12 cars went thru before I moved my car closer to the front window as it was really windy that evening. I saw two customers pick up their drinks about 25 and 35 minutes after I ordered respectfully.

I attempted to drink what I thought was a hot chocolate drink. I think it was some sort of an espresso drink which I promptly spit out all over my dashboard. I pulled off the road and promptly dumped out the contents of the drink I thought was hot chocolate and the other three drinks.

Typically I would allow support to help resolve an issue but that didn’t happen here. As stated in reviews below, we were double charged for our drinks. Just like said below we paid for our drink on their iPad, got to the window and were told that we didn’t pay. We were then charged again. However, this time they took a reward and charged our card. So we got 2 drinks which we were double charged for and then also our reward was taken.

I told them that they double charged my card where they told me they didn’t. When I get home I see the 2 charges. I contacted Dutch support and they told me they would forward my message to another team, leaving the issue not resolved. We will no longer support Dutch because this isn’t the first time we’ve had this issue at the locations in airway heights and Spokane area. Now I am going through the process of disputing charges with my bank due to their lack of resolution and response. Sharing the review below that I’m referring to since my situation happened today, Aug 23rd, 3 weeks after this review! I love Dutch Bros! Drinks are amazing and affordable (seriously you cannot go wrong) and I love how easy the sizing is. Small (16oz), medium (24oz), large (32oz). Makes time a little better when it's 530 in the morning and you can barely make a decision. What truly sets Dutch Bros apart, though, is their amazing staff. I have had nothing but spectacular experiences at Dutch Bros. These are people who love their jobs and take pride in doing them well. They're also some of the nicest people you will ever meet. While I love all of the staff members at Airway Dutch, I believe Dani deserves a huge shout out. She is always there when I stop by first thing in the morning and it's easy to see that she is a person interested in the people she serves. She is a kind hearted soul who does an amazing job.
