Rally's — Restaurant in Akron

This store would get 0 stats if it was an option...

First, the parking lot looks like it's never been cleaned. Ever. But as it's late, it is the only place open. So I go through the drive thru. I'm told, "My crew is on a five minute break. You'll have to wait." I said, 'That's fine.' After the wait, I'm asked what I wanted, and I ordered a simple rally burger meal. I'm told to pull up, being given no price. I pull up, I'm asked for my order Again. So I gave it. I was given a price and handed my debit card out of my car window. My arm was out as far as it would go. The woman barely put her hand out, like it was an imposition to have to do so. I said,'My arm's out as far as it will go.' she took my card, then immediately started waving it at me, telling me, 'Have a good night. Im the only one here, and you're being kinda rude," in a very snide tone. I looked at her incredulously. I asked,'You're really doing this, and she rudely shut the window in my face. Now, mind you, I'm a handicapped grandmother out here working to try to pay my bills. I also have diabetes. My sugar was extremely low. I was already dizzy. I'd waited the 5 minutes for the Imaginary employees that she had lied about. There was no reason for her words, actions, or behavior. I'd like Rallys to know that this incident caused me to be hospitalized for my low sugar. Simply because one bad employee was in a very foul mood.

A hospital stay could have been avoided by simply providing good service, yet it wasn't. I'd like to know when Rallys began thinking it's ok to give poor service, the worst I've ever had anywhere, and be extremely rude to their paying customers??? This is the second time this has happened at this store.

And yet another time recently, I was told they had to wait to unload their truck that was waiting. There was NO truck. They lied to get out of doing work for pay. Just like the woman tonight.

I won't be back unless this store gets new management that doesn't have an issue with being employed in the Service Industry, and Serving their customers. Now I get to stay at the lovely hospital down the road... so someone else could be rude and lazy.

Wow. A far cry from the days when Rallys offered free food if your order wasn't ready within 30 seconds of ordering. Shame on you, and shame on those not qualified for higher paying positions in society, yet still feel they have the right to lie, be snide, be lazy, and be horrible to anyone they wish as they were queen or king or...

I have tried and tried to give this rallys a chance. If i want fast food taco bell, mcdonalds, and burger king are all right there too. Last night was the last time. Day shift never had a problem, its the night crew that is consistently bad. The manager seems nice but very timid around employees seemed like. The crew is running her, not the other way around. A few regular night shift people that i recognize are extremely rude and get a huge attitude if you ask them for anything. Dont order off of the app or pick up doordash at night there either. The same rude employees will ignore you for 15 minutes before they even acknowledge you are there if you pull up on the left side. The speaker does not work or the just have it shut off. I have noticed they are getting slower too. Owner of this location should seriously consider just closing at night if theu cannot find better people to work. I have been in the restaurant biz and managed and waitressed for 20+ years so i am more patient and unserstanding then most. It is extremely annoying when i go there and constantly have to pullback through the drivethrough because they forgot something. I mean how do you screw up a rallyburger and cheesesticks?! I started checking now before i pull away. The big girl (the worst one) got a big attitude with me again yesterday when she saw me checking in my bag. I pulled away - no marinara sauce. That happens every time. I didnt order extra you dont need extra but i would like to have just one because it is included and cheese sticks are not the same without it imo. Last time got home and got a fish sandwich instead of a big buford. Didnt complain, never said a word. I dont eat fish so it went right in the garbage. Time before that forgot the entire order of cheese sticks. The same big girl got an attitude when i asked her for them. Got home and because i didnt check the 2nd...

Its a wonder how and why this specific location is allowed to be a part of the Rallys/Checkers Company, Carrying the Business Name and Serving their Versions of The original vision once set forth by its founder years ago. Meaning, Its an embarassment at the very least! This has to be the absolute worst Rallys in an Entire 100 mile Radius.The store is filthy. I wouldnt even consider planting a cactus in that kitchen, it would die within hours. Its absolutely disgusting. The food they serve, Its like going to a food pantry for food, The lowest of quality. Bad Taste, Not Fresh whatsoever. Who eats wilted lettuce, mushy tomatoes and slices of shaped/formed OIL that they have the nerve to call cheese and this cheese i speak of is so gross that the state Wisconsin would shoot them down for even trying to imitate real cheese, because what this location serves is not any cheese Ive ever seen, well maybe in a movie... like some goopy ear wax. you get my point tho. its Nasty. Lastly, the Staff is what sets it off. not only do they promote this dump which rakes in over a million dollars in sales or more annually, which goes to show the greater percentage of the population has lost their standards and expectations because they support such a restaurant. The staff, well from what I have personally witnessed, they are Rude people. Unprofessional, worse than Roseanne Bar Ever was. Seriously. They wear dirty clothes, no gloves, no hair restraints and probably do not even practice food saftey. So bad i wouldnt be surprised to learn their toilet bowl was their kitchen sink. The Management is even worse. its absolutely pathetic. Shame on you Rallys for allowing this to even happen, and shame on anyone for ever supporting this restaurant location.
