Sal's Gelato — Restaurant in Akron

My Family took Me here, and I absolutely Loved their 🍨 Ice cream. The Service was Excellent: Very Kind, Professional, and Fast. They have different flavors that other Ice cream places don't have, and the texture of their Ice cream is spot on. My Sister is lactose intolerant, so she was able to get Orange Ice or Lemon Ice. She chose Orange 🍊 Ice and it was delicious. I got the Toasted Coconut 🥥, and Mom got the Pistachio. Also, they have an inside and outside seating area which is large enough for multiple families. They have a walk up or roll up, for wheelchairs and bicycles, outside window. This business is wheelchair friendly on the inside as well. There are No steps, and the Parking lot is all pavement and very large. There are car spaces very close to the door, with Easy Access ♿

They have games there for Families, such as corn hole and many others. It's Located on a Beautiful spot Right on the edge of The Cuyahoga Valley. So, I noticed a lot of Families pulling in on their bicycles. They have clean bathrooms, which is important to me, as it shows how clean and establishment is overall. We had a Really Nice time here enjoying the scenery, playing games, and we enjoyed an after ice cream...

Stopped here while biking on the towpath trail. Cute little high end bakery shop with seating inside and about three outside tables and a bocci court for entertainment. I'm always between getting one scoop and two at ice cream places but I went with 2 here and I'm glad I did. Very creamy and delicious.

For other bikers: there is a spot at the end of the parking lot where the vegetation is low enough you can walk your bike through from the trail. It would help if the owners cut the vegetation down here and put a sign to make it more accessible as the main road is not safe and lacks a sidewalk...

The Gelato is amazing! We had the flight $18.00 generous serving more than enough for 2 people, & I'm so glad we did. Had the limoncello and strawberry balsamic mint, chocolate hazelnut and pistachio. Omg they were all delicious. The limoncello is my favorite, however the strawberry balsamic mint was really delicious too. They have some pastries, great coffee (which i was dying for). Scones look delicious, and they have Tiramasu/yum. They also sell coffee, oil, and a few things that are sourced from Italy. Try it you won't be dissatisfied.
