I don't even have words for what this store thinks is acceptable. Saturday around 1:30pm, we waited in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes. Which is already too long, but when we got there, we were maybe the 5th car, didn't expect it to take that long. But whatever, we wait, our choice. Get the speaker, wait a little longer, the barista comes over the speaker and informed me that it would be a 20-30 minute wait if we wanted to order. I pushed with confusion, 20 to 30 minutes more after we've waited to reach this point? She said yes, we're short staffed so if you don't want to wait I understand. I was and am still absolutely confused at what this process actually was/is. How in any sense of imagination does that make sense? You are an establishment that operates on a fast food model--wait in line to order, order, pay, get coffee. If they were having people wait upwards of 15 minutes to have to leave and come back in another 20-30 minutes, what even are they doing? Who are they serving? How are you that behind on a process of making coffee and reheating food? Genuinely confused and do not understand. They never should have had their drive thru open if this was the case. Terrible management to let this happen and I'd invite management to contact me to help me wrap my head around how they thought this was logical.
This store relieved a ton of traffic from Hughes Rd but I definitely can't say after this experience it's worth the convenience. Maybe it's worth going to Kroger or...
Read moreNot sure who was taking orders on September 14,2025 at 4:45 PM on Reg 4, but my experience was pretty unprofessional. I ordered a Venti Mint hot tea with honey. I’m an opera singer and I am currently sick. Since my college days, I have always considered this as a favorite for sickness. When ordering, the lady taking my order made me repeat my order three times and I could hear audible laughing in the background and comments regarding Charlie Kirk. I was lost. I don’t have a clue what this man’s Starbucks order was but to harass innocent customers is completely unacceptable. She then sarcastically asked me if 5 honeys would be enough? If anything, Kirk is increasing sales for Starbucks. I genuinely didn’t know the guy’s order and for the record, I did not vote in the last presidential election for personal reasons. To make false political assumptions based off of one order is really sad. Please do better and go back to the Starbucks we all know and love. I understand how an order might be triggering and seem heartless from a customer but I can assure you, that is not in my character. Additionally, I am also a teacher and this location generously donated to my classroom last year for a themed Starbucks day! I am VERY appreciative for the support of teachers but this incident broke my heart.
God bless...
Read moreI ordered breakfast through the app, and when I arrived to pick it up, they told me they didn’t have that item and asked what I’d like instead. I said I didn’t want anything and requested a refund. When I scanned my debit card—the same one linked to the app—the refund was issued to a gift card instead of returning to my original payment method.
I pointed this out to the employee, and she acted surprised, fiddled with the register, and then i seen on the register transaction void. She then told me there was nothing she could do, that she only knew how to press a few buttons, and that I’d have to call corporate for a refund.
That’s poor customer service. If she knew (or even suspected) that the refund would go to a gift card, why not tell me upfront? And it’s sneaky of Starbucks to automatically issue refunds this way, forcing me to go through corporate just to get MY money back.
I had to go to work so I had no time to go back and forth but the dishonesty and sneaky were sad and pathetic and I believe I am done...
