Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Alabama

Today was the WORSE EXPEIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AT ANY Chick fil A!!!! I was already rushing (which is why I used the app instead of sitting in the line). I visit this restaurant at least 3 times a week. This morning they were having troubles with their app and this was apparent because AS SOON as I walked in with my phone in my hand, the man at the counter asked "Hey is our app giving you problems?" I explained to him that I had placed my order and my account was charged but my order did not come through to the restaurant. I showed him where the money was taken out of my account and he proceeded to tell me that I would have to re-order, AND re-pay if I wanted breakfast. This is ridicilous!!!! I eat there all the time and I feel that there was more that could be done!!!! This is the account that I use only for breaksfast and since there was not enough money in my account to get what I had orderd, my son and I had to walk away WITH NO BREAKFAST!!!!!!! This has happend once in the past, and the manager was kind enough to go ahead and give us our breaksfast. Thank God he did, because the money that was taken out, because of THEIR faulty app, WAS NEVER RETURNED TO MY ACCOUNT!!!!!!!! I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the food I purchased tonight. Usually I ask for fresh fries I even go as far as to say fresh from the fryer ( fryer to fry carton). I also usually check the temperature of my food before I leave the restaurant but tonight I didn’t and I paid for it. I live less than 3 minutes from the restaurant. I get home, open the bag and my fries are cold (all four containers). I called back to the restaurant (Cliff Farm location) and explain the situation to the young lady who answered the phone. She apologized for what happened. When I said that I should have requested fresh fries she agreed. I was dumbfounded at her response. I hang up the phone and begin to heat up the fries in the air. As I am doing this I begin to think of how my issue was handled; so I call back. This time I get the manager on duty Cameron. You would have thought she would have handled the situation differently but no. When I asked for the contact information for the gentleman who owns that location he also owns the one on Wynn Drive. She said that she could not give out person information, so I asked for the corporate office number. Cameron said that she did not have that information.
