5 stars IS NOT ENOUGH. Very long story short, I passed out while ordering my food here. I’m pregnant and didn’t eat nearly enough by almost 7pm. I knew it was coming on and asked the cashier the second I got there for chips and she immediately got me chips and water and didn’t look annoyed im being so needy while they were BUSY (line out the door busy).
The next thing I know, I’m surrounded by employees and patrons and everyone is just doing whatever they can to help me. Another woman had told me the cashier just like held my head when I passed out to make sure my head didn’t hit the counter and I have no idea how long I was out but the manager had already brought over a bag of ice and they were very calmly holding it against various parts of my body to not shock me but cool me down.
They brought over Powerade and ensured I had water and walked all my stuff over to a table so I didn’t have to carry anything (this part was mainly a patron but the manager and employees were just incredible).
Anyway, I’ve always loved Taco Mama; especially this location but I’m emotionally wowed by how incredibly they jumped to action to help me. Everyone deserves raises and...
Read more5 star food, 5 star service, 5 star recommend to friend, 1 star order accuracy. I've been to this location about a dozen times since it opened, and so far my order has yet to be 100% accurate. Whether missing toppings from my build your own burrito, Taco, nachos, or missing sauces ordered on the side, it goes without fail that it is never right. Therefore I must check my take out order before leaving the establishment or I'm doomed to be disappointed when I get home... and even then you can't always catch a missing topping (especially within a burrito). Interestingly enough, the Providence location mostly gets my order correct depending on whose working that day. They used to get my order correct 100% of the time at Providence, but some key managers left for one reason or another several years back, so now it's not always correct. Good thing both the food and service are awesome, otherwise I'd be going elsewhere ... no other Mexican joint in the area even comes close to how good the Taco Mama food is in my opinion! Will definitely be back for my weekly Taco Mama, but would be nice if they paid better attention to...
Read moreI never leave google reviews, but I just had to after our dining experience today. My husband and I have a 2 month old and we haven’t gotten out much since he’s been born. We have been trying to get out more and get used to taking him places. We decided to go to taco mama around 1:30 today in hopes it wouldn’t be too crowded. We arrived and there were a few people eating both in and outside. We ordered and sat down outside away from everyone in case he started fussing. The wind was so bad that all of our food was blowing around and the baby was having a hard time due to the wind. My husband and I decided to just get our food to go at that point. The three young ladies working in there were adamant about helping us out. They said please just come inside and we will set you up at a table with room for your stroller. They moved all our food and also shut the doors so it would be less windy for the baby. They also offered to help out with the baby in anyway they could. I just want to thank all of them for ensuring us we were okay with our baby there and allowing us to have a nice meal. It means so much to...
