Pros: Great food (probably terrible for you, but hey it's burgers and fries - it tastes awesome); generally interesting atmosphere. Staff is generally quite friendly.

Cons: Today I took my wife and son there to eat. Our waitress was very friendly and for the most part attentive (as all the staff usually is). However, shortly after we got our food, my toddler age son starting getting really fussy and loud. I didn't want this to be a problem for the other people there, so I went and found our waitress at the front counter and told her I wanted to go ahead and pay for our food so we could leave (and therefore no one would have to listen to my son scream anymore). She rang me up, and I then told her we just needed three take out boxes to put our food in. She said she would go get them, but then she kinda wandered off to another table and sat down to chat with another employee who was off duty (I only know this because I heard them talking about it). Then another person came in and started talking to the two of them. They were just kind of sitting there shooting the breeze and I felt like she was completely ignoring my wife, my son, and I. All we needed was take out boxes to put our food, which she said she would get...and yet she just sat down (in front of us) and talked to her friends. So we just stood there, waiting, while my son was screaming...which I know was not fun for the other patrons to listen to. Finally my wife and I had to bundle up our food in the thin sheets they normally serve the food on (ie, that lies between the food itself and the plastic baskets they come in). This was kinda tricky to do because those sheets are so small and thin. We weren't able to take our drinks (which we had PAID for) because we didn't have enough hands between the two of us (since we were already carrying our food plus my screaming son). We had to sort of carefully hobble our way out of the place like that, right in front of our waitress, who was still ignoring us and sitting down talking with her friends.

During this process, I did happen to still leave the waitress about a 25% tip. I did this because I generally enjoy this place, in spite of this bad experience. But if something like this happens again, I won't be tipping like that anymore.

Another downside that I feel deserves a mention is that there have been times where they have played booty shaking, vulgar rap music. I really don't want to bring my son to what is (I think?) a kid-friendly place only for him to have to hear music like that. To the store's credit, I haven't noticed this the last two or three times we've been there. However, if it comes back then I probably won't be as likely to come...

It takes a lot for me not to tip, It takes a lot for me to be so dissatisfied with my food that I leave it on the table opposed to taking my leftovers home. Tonight I did both.

Our waitress was completely unenthused with us, we had never been here before so we didn't really understand the menu nor did we know the most favorite or popular items. Our waitress did not offer us any theatrics or play up any of the items she gave us our menus and told us she would give us a minute to decide. After receiving our food our waitress never checked on us again until she was asking us was there anything else we needed as we had clearly finished our food. I ordered the turkey club which was the Bam Bam, and it tasted like something you could buy at the hospital cafe. Bland and watery My husband on the other hand got the patty melt and he absolutely loved it. A table of gentlemen came in after we did, and they were greeted with the antics and cute little stories, and even given a rundown of what was popular and the favorites amongst the community. She even paused to take pictures of them and with them how nice !! Shortly before the group of gentlemen came in we asked for a to-go box and the check .. needless to say we never got it, she never even came back to our table even though we were right next to the table she was gushing over. We ended up just walking to the counter, to pay and leave. Our waitress was their hand out to take our payment, and even had the nerve to look bothered that she received no tip. You cannot ignore your customers and expect to be tipped.

I was excited to experience this restaurant, but after tonight I cannot say I am itching or interested to go back. If you are looking for subpar food and service with a half of a smile this may be the...

Me, my wife and kids went here on a Saturday. I'm not a huge superhero fan, so this place wasn't at the top of my list. Bottom line up front: I am super glad I went, the food was great and reasonably priced.

The interior is covered with comic book paraphernalia and decorations, some homemade and others professional. We were promptly seated and my kids received a cup of crayons, which was nice.

The wife ordered the chicken salad (which had a large portion size and she raved over the taste), I got the 'Huntsvillian', which is a burger loaded down with fried jalapeños, spicy pepper jack and 'sweet heat pepper jelly' which usually isn't my jam (pardon the pun :V) but was delicious. Kids got kids' meals, and the chicken and fries were very good (chicken was moist) and the kids mac-n-cheese was exceptional.

The price was great - two adults and two kids for $40 before tip can't really be beat (the kids meals are very affordable). I would 100% come back here and I would absolutely give this place a shot (even if you aren't a fan of comics but especially if you are). They recently revamped their menu items and the quality is much higher than it used to be - give it a shot again if you've previously tried it and not liked it.

My one downside is the menu is a little hard to read and find what you want to eat. Because everything has a cartoon themed name and flavor text description, it takes a while to process what an item is after reading it. I would humbly suggest they use some AI art sites to create pictures of items in a comic book style so they can stay on brand but also help easily identify food. The most...

If you (and your kids) love Marvel and DC comics and great food, then you'll love Supper Heroes! Hidden away on Winchester road, this unassuming little restaurant features great service, very good food, and an atmosphere from all your favorite comic book characters, old/classic and new. The 3 TVs were playing Captain America-Winter Soldier, Spiderman, and Guardians of the Galaxy...while we reviewed the comic-book style menus. The kids get paper and crayons to practice drawing their favorite super heroes. The "Buffalo Soldier," chicken wing wrap was excellent, as was the cole slaw and green bean casserole I got for my sides. The "What Came First" chicken salad sandwich was also very good, as was the "Kitchen Sink" chef salad. The kids had chicken quesadilla, hot dogs, and hamburgers with mac&cheese, fries, and they each got a Little Debbie snack to accompany their meal. Fed 3 adults and 4 young kids for only $62 + tip.. with endless drinks. Whether you have kids or not, feed your inner child and enjoy the view of your favorite comic-book characters. Will have to plan to wear my Wolverine shirt next visit.😉

Went for lunch. The food was very decently priced, and we all enjoyed what we ordered. I had the Huntsvillain burger and enjoyed it immensely. I never knew, that sweet pepper jelly compliments a burger, so well. Our mozzarella sticks appetizer might have been the only thing that was not at the level the rest of the food was. It wasn't bad but it was fine. Honestly, I was not expecting the food to be as good, as I did. My photos of our food may not showcase the solid foundation, in flavor, that our sandwiches had. The decor, of course, is superhero-related, and there is a lot of it, but I feel it is done nicely. The staff and service was good. The menu is a work of art and very nicely themed. However, I could see some people being confused at the non-traditional layout. I feel that even if you're not big into anything comic-related, the value and food are worth a visit.
