This has to be the worst Culver's location in the whole nation, of all nearly 1000 locations. The last few times I visited this location, the entire experience was terrible. On my most recent visit, I purchased two Butter Cheeseburger meals with 2 Cheesecake Custards. The employee advised me that their fryer is down so they cannot accommodate us with any sides except salads, broccoli, and anything else that doesn't need to be fried. So I opted for broccoli for one meal and a salad on the second meal. The employee gave the total which included additional fees for the sides. So, I asked the employee if they were charging extra for choosing the only sides they have available although I wanted fries, and his supervisor's response was, "Yes, you can either pay extra for the sides or choose not to get a side and still pay the full price for the meal. Amused, I decided to go ahead and keep the side and pay extra. I went to the window, paid for my food and waited. When they brought the food out I drove off and then realized once arriving home that they didn't put ANY sauce at all on both burgers. We asked for ketchup, mustard, and mayo. The food was also cold, but I didn't even bother mentioning it when I drove back to the restaurant. I explained that there were no sauces on either sandwich. The employee at the window did not apologize, she just asked if I want some ketchup and mustard packages. Amused again, I simply said, "OK SURE". I drove off again, only to realize that they never gave me the Custards. Luckily, I hadn't left the parking lot this time, so I drove back around and went straight to the window and explained that this is my 3rd time at the window because I wasn't given the Custards I paid for. The employee says oh "Are you ticket 39?(or whatever the # was)", and I replied, "yes". She then walks off and bring me ONE custard with the ticket number still stuck to the cup. I then stated, "I purchased two". She said, "I'll go make you another one"... so when she comes back I ask her if I could speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. No apologies for the inconvenience of getting the order wrong and not providing me with everything I ordered, nothing. Absolute terrible customer service. I rather drive to the Madison location 45 minutes from my house than go back to this location. This doesn't even include my previous experiences. The supervisor needs to be retrained and the food is not representing the company well because usually...
Read moreUsed to think this restaurant was great when it first opened, reasonable options for the price. This has since declined the longer the restaurant has been open. The curbside times have become longer and longer, the list of what rubs out becomes more and more each day. My 'final straw' was an order for a soda, a shake, and a lemon ice that took a little over 30 minutes to get from the time I hit 'I'm here' to someone arriving. The excuse given was "we just got over-run with tickets" the lemon ice was melted, the shake certainly didnt need a spoon anymore, and the fountain drink was already sticky on the outside of the cup. Per the print out ticket given with my order it took 37 minutes for an order of three items to go from ticket to curbside.
It's disappointing to see something nice having trended into another cookie cutter business that shows little regard for the customer. Was the gentleman professional that brought my order; 1000% percent! But dont feed me a line of we got busy when I watched the drive through go from busy to empty twice, and people go into the restaurant to eat and come out.
What's the most frustrating is the manger (name forgotten) that a year ago took the time to have some staff come and sing happy birthday to my father on his birthday because he really enjoyed the food and wanted to celebrate there being the person to hand off my order and not really off er an apology, but an excuse to what I would think was a straight...
Read moreWe were in the mood for burgers and stopped here because we have never tried Culvers before. We ordered online and they delivered it out to us in our vehicle, which was a nice touch. I had a Butter Burger with a Salted Caramel Concrete, and my hubby had a Mushroom Swiss burger with a Strawberry shake. The burgers were hot and juicy and seasoned very well. There was a list of available options as far as toppings, etc which was nice. My concrete was a nice treat...salted caramel and marshmallow cream mixed in for a sweet salty result that was super yummy! My hubby's strawberry shake had real strawberries mixed in and was very thick and creamy. I tried the Cheese Curds as my side and they were crunchy and chewy with melty cheese inside.....I got their signature dipping sauce with them, which is a version of Ranch dressing with a little more zing to it. Very good! Hubby had crinkle fries (his favorite), and he said they were hot and fresh. Overall, a great experience, and I have definitely added Culvers to my list of fast food...
