We were just passing through on our way from Kansas to Florida and had never ate at a Jacks before so thought we’d refuel with some breakfast and coffee. The young woman taking our order was busy talking to a co worker about a party, so we waited. We ordered within a few minutes of their conversation. I and my husband ordered a coffee , as well as breakfast for ourselves and our 3 kids. The lady asked for my last name , I assumed to alert us when our order was ready. I went to get the coffee out of the pots they had on the bar and it was empty. My husband alerted the cashier immediately. We went and got our seat, and we waited. There were 3 other employees sitting out in the eating area. I assumed they were on break. After about five minutes went by, I got up to check on the coffee and our order. I found our order sitting on the counter. I asked the person behind the counter if it was ours but didn’t get a reply. I asked about the coffee and the lady asked another to start some coffee. I took our food to our table. My husband’s order was incorrect and my sons order wasn’t there. I went back up and found my sons food sitting on the counter and a lady handed me my daughters shake that had it all over outside of the cup. I attempted to put it on the tray with my sons food and it slipped out of my hand and fell onto the tray, spilling out of the top. There was still no coffee made. I asked a staff on break (Teresa) if she could give us some assistance. She immediately got up and got my husbands correct sandwhich and apologized for our troubles. She reported that the coffee was being made. I again went to counter to get coffee and there was none. I asked to speak with manager and the assistant manager turned around ( whom had been standing there throughout this ordeal) I explained that I still had no coffee and had waited for at least 15 minutes. In addition, the order that was sitting on the counter was cold however we would eat it but would like butter and syrup for our now cold pancakes. He apologized and got me coffee out of the pot used for drive through as well as handed me melted butter in a cup. He explained that they had sent everyone on break at the wrong time, even though there was 7 working behind the counter. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such poor customer service in my 42 years and will not be visiting another Jacks as a result. Cudios to Teresa however for attempting to make things right even though she was...
Read moreBELIEVE ALL OF THE 1 STAR REVIEWS , here is a bigger jack. It’s tiny , the same size as the tomato. They say it’s bigger because there is an extra dime thick patty on it. What a rip off. Then it has a gain in it to boot. , Just close this crappy place down like all of the burger kings and Wendy’s that were like this place is. Worthless , I haven’t been to jacks in forever and I go today to get a cheeseburger meal and I told the girl no onions. I get it and I open it up and there are 3 times more onions than anyone would ever put on a hamburger and no cheese.also the hamburger is barely bigger than a Krystal slider.the fries didn’t have a speck of salt on them What a rip off , here it is another day. I order a double cheeseburger with no onions and it comes with onions and no cheese. They can never get one thing right , I got a big BLT and the bacon was cooked to a crisp. The back on was broken up into 1/4 inch pieces falling all in the floor. There was 1 tomato on a huge Texas toast sandwich. The bread was stale and dry. Every single time everything is terrible. , I’ll never go back. and All other restaurants wear headsets for the drive thru window. At this jacks they have the drive thru speaker piped into the restsurant turned wide open. As we are sitting there eating we have to hear every drive thru order. “ I WANT A CHEESEBURGER AND FRIES AND MY SON TIMMY .... ( screams in the back seat ) WHAT DO YOU WANT TIMMY ?” then the employee screams back over the loud speaker “ OK , YOU WANT 2 CHEESEBURGERS FRIES AND 2 COKES” this went on the whole time we were trying to eat. I’ll go some where...
Read moreFirst Arby's and now Jack's, whether this is a limited time item or not, I think yall should really try this out, it's worth it 👍
Jacks has a fish sandwich now and it has a couple ingredients like the fish of course, lettuce, and what seems to be ranch or tartar sauce because that is most associated with fish when it comes to sauce.
Service: Nothing too out of the ordinary, came in expecting to get my food relatively quickly and easy 😎 There wasn't that many people inside so it was a good time and I find myself at ease when ordering from the menu.
Atmosphere/Lobby: Different from a lot of Jack's, the TV seems to be located in an odd location and the bathroom is like on the right side when you first enter (depends on which doors you come through) but for the most part, pretty comfortable.
Food: This is a bit better then Arby's when it came to their fish counterpart, was immediately hot when I ate it so I decided to let it cool down but I ordered some fries that go along with the sandwich and then some bacon ranchy fries like sort of a messy fries topped with bacon and ranch, you can add ketchup too for more effect, it is best eaten with a fork or you can eat with your hands.
Overall, I kinda forgot this Jacks existed but give it a try! I think every restaurant deserves a good one once...
