We came here because My Wife likes Outback but I don't. I endure eating at Outback for my Wife. She deserves anything because she never asks for anything and she's my wife and definitely worth it, so I will please her. I had the Cheeseburger but originally wanted the loaded Cheese Fries and when I asked the Server, she stated that they couldn't accommodate just adding Cheddar Cheese since I dislike Monterey Jack Cheese, But, because the Monterey Jack Cheese (which is separate and NOT mixed in with the Cheddar chesse) had to be added to the loaded fries. So I requested, how about the cheddar cheese you use for Burgers?, guess what? I was told that the Cheddar cheese used for burgers, is used ONLY for burgers and can't be added to the loaded fries. Is there a Cheddar cheese shortage that they have to limit it to only burgers? It ended up that I couldn't order the loaded fries that I wanted to order. I would have paid for the adjustment, but for some unknown reason, even though it's stated as a separate ingredient in the menu (see picture included with this post), they won't comply. Maybe their Cheddar cheese would create a chemical reaction or maybe its not politically correct to add Sliced Cheddar cheese meant for burgers because it would be rude to the French fries. Either way, I had to eat something else I didn't want and didn't enjoy, and on top of that, I ordered extra regular fries and didn't get that either. My Wife ordered the Steak with salmon, and even she was disappointed (remember she is a fan of Outback) and didn't like her meal. Lacked seasoning as wasn't really satisfied with the presentation. Plus her drink was more ice than drink. So, we both agreed that this meal, wasn't worth the over 80 plus dollars price we paid at all. We could have gotten a better meal, made as we request at Cheddars, Texas Roadhouse, Fridays, Chili's, Smokey Bones. Why didn't we complain, you may ask? Why complain when Management would just try to pacify us and downplay our grievance in a polite way. So, my Wife and remember, I previously mentioned that She was a fan of Outback, has decided that we won't be visiting any Outback Steakhouse again. So I hope Outback will invest the 80 plus dollars we paid righteously because they won't be getting another penny...
Read moreMy partner and I recently went to this location to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. When we arrived there was nobody at the front to greet us. We stood there and waited for about 5 or so minutes and I’m pretty sure I saw the person who sat us come from the bathroom so I totally understand that. The issue we had was that not one… not two… but THREE managers were walking around and just looking at us standing there. When we were seated we waited another 15-20 minutes before the waiter even showed up to greet us and take our drink orders. We had already decided what we wanted to eat since we had so much time but it felt like he practically ran away right after we put in the drink order. The appetizer came before we even had drinks and a two different people brought both the drinks and the appetizer. We had to flag our waiter down just to ask for more sauce. Someone else brought us all our food after we were finally able to order and we waited another 30 minutes before seeing our waiter again. My partner had to flag him down to ask for the bill. He never even came to ask how we were doing when we got the food. We got seated around 6:30 pm and they were no where near busy. We didn’t even get to leave until after 8 pm because we could hardly get the staff to pay attention to us. (We also heard most of the staff laughing in the back while most tables were left alone. We watched another customer across the restaurant get up to bring someone to his table.) We were even going to order dessert but the meal felt so unending and we just wanted to go home. The food came out pretty quickly and tasted just fine though!!! I however think that the overall service, especially on our anniversary was just pathetic. The food was fine but definitely not anything worth it… We probably...
Read moreI called ahead at 11am for a table of 6 at 7pm. We were seated promptly. After 10-15 minutes, I had to ask two different staff members to request our server come to our table. The restaurant was not very crowded. We were seated in a cluster of tables handled by one server, Eli. We immediately ordered drinks and an appetizer (Blooming onion). I asked Eli to return when the appetizer was served so we could order our entrées. The soft drinks arrived alone. The liquor and beer were no where in site. After a few more minutes, I went to the bar and retrieved 3 of the mixed drinks. The draft beer was still not poured. The bartender told me he needed a new keg. In the interest of time, I asked the bartender for a bottled beer instead of a draft. My request was ignored. I then got sprayed by beer foam as he wrestled with the tap handle. In the meantime, our server was busy taking orders from two parties seated after us. He had not returned to take our entrée orders. After another 15 minutes, Eli returned to take the orders. At this point, I had lost my appetite. Everyone else in my party ordered. I asked to speak with his manager.
A nice lady appeared a few minutes later and immediately started making excuses about being short staffed.
The other two parties finished their meals and were paying their checks when our table was served its entrées.
My question is: Why did you seat us if you could not provide excellent customer service due to a staffing issue? Why did I have to retrieve my own drinks from the bar? Are receipts worth more than your professional reputation and corporate image?
I left a $5 tip on a $200 check. No need to direct me to corporate for additional assistance. We...
