UPDATE: After an interesting deep tissue massage (see original post), Infinite Me reached out to offer me a complimentary Swedish massage and a credit on my account. I booked a massage with Cheryl and loved it. I will definitely come back and appreciate the spa’s willingness to offer me this complimentary service. I left feeling looser and more relaxed.
ORIGINAL POST: I’m conflicted as I write this review. I got a deep tissue massage yesterday. To preface: This was my first time trying a deep tissue massage. I’ve had maybe 10 Swedish massages in my life, and most of the time have found the amount of pressure lacking. I’ve been told I have a high pain tolerance and my husband always has to give it his all when rubbing his back, so I figured I would be able to handle a deep tissue massage. I was WRONG. But…I also think the amount of pressure and techniques used by my masseuse yesterday were sometimes more harmful than helpful. The massage felt like two extremes: very light touch with the whole hands (think the kind of pressure and motions of putting on body lotion) to sudden very deep and aggressive massage. It felt like there was no “warm up.” The suddenness and deepness of these strokes led me to tense up often during the massage. During some moments, I was literally breathing through the massage, like through contractions (I’m less than 3 months postpartum—trust me, I remember what that is like). Even when I said “That hurts really bad,” she didn’t let up. Maybe she didn’t hear me? I get that the concept is working out deep tissue, but I feel like if the amount of pressure is so deep that the body is tensing instead of relaxing, that is too much. I would have also appreciated some “medium strength” touches to maybe prepare my muscles a bit more, rather than her fast, furious, and sudden strokes. Today I’m feeling tension in spots worse than before because of all the tensing I did during my massage. I will say my masseuse and the receptionist were very kind and Infinite Me Spa is beautiful inside. I would maybe return to try a Swedish massage. Maybe it’s just my naivety, but I had high hopes for this massage and was left feeling disappointed and a...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusted with Infinity Me Spa. I booked a facial over the phone, agreeing to their $75 six-month membership offer, and provided my card details. They even told me to come in early to sign the contract. But when I arrived, they pulled a complete bait-and-switch!
Suddenly, the six-month membership was 'no longer available.' Instead, they demanded I sign up for a TWELVE-month contract or pay $90 for the service. They tried to blame it on a 'last-minute change' the day before, which I was NEVER notified about. When I refused their extortion tactics and canceled, they had the audacity to try and charge me a $45 cancellation fee!
This is a blatant scam. They think they can change the terms on a whim and force customers into overpriced contracts. They refused to honor the original agreement and showed zero customer service.
As a resident of this community, I'm warning everyone: DO NOT trust Infinity Me Spa. They are dishonest and will try to rip you off. They literally told me they can change the terms as they please. Spread the word – they need to be held accountable!
You're calling me dishonest? That's rich. I called on Wednesday and booked the facial with the six-month membership agreement. My appointment was scheduled for Saturday. So, are you claiming you changed the terms of the contract within two days? That's not a 'week,' as you stated. And I never received any email or notification of this supposed change.
Furthermore, your staff demanded the full $90 for the service, not the $75 introductory rate you're now claiming. If that was the case, why wouldn't I have taken it?
Your business is engaging in dishonest practices. You changed the terms of an agreement, and then tried to charge me a cancellation fee for your bait-and-switch. This is not how you treat customers. I stand by my review. You are a liar and your business...
Read moreI apologizeas this is going to be a long one! I was lucky enough to win a Visa gift card at work and decided to spoil myself with a spa day. I did a bunch of searching online to find something that felt more like me and less like stuffy snooty place. I came across Infinite Me and I am 100% glad I did. I went on 6/29/24. From the booking experience to when the day was complete and it was time to pay the staff and experience was devine! I had an entire day booked. 90-minute massage with Isabel, she is magical. The best massage I have ever had. I could have laid there all day! Then an European Facial with Gina, she was so knowledgable, told me great tips for my skin and the proper type of sunscreen to use. Next was a scalp treatment with a wash and style from Carizma, she was so nice, told me so much about my hair and scalp and techniques and products I am going to go out and buy to get my hair and scalp healthy. She also gave me this cute wavy style that I could never do myself, I loved it. My final services was a Mani and Pedi with Gio. Gio was so easy to talk to was very detailed and took his time to make sure everything was perfect. Throughout my whole experience, the owner Zenea was checking in on me, making me feel so welcomed and a part of the family. She even at the end of the day was looking at my nails and noticed some tiny little white things I missed and asked Gio to fix it which he did and was again so kind. They provided me with water and a mimosa, and even let me use their fridge to hold my snacks since I was there from 930-5. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend to all my family and friends as well as strangers on the street! I can't wait to go back! Thank you Infinite Me Spa for such an...
