Taco Bell — Restaurant in Alamogordo

As a former Taco Bell employee, this is the only Taco Bell I've gone to in the past several years that got my order exactly right on the first try and made it how it's supposed to be made and how I would have made it without me even having to ask for it that way. For clarity, I always order a Nacho Belgrande (subsitute the beef with steak, extra steak, no beans, add guac). They made sure all the ingredients were evenly spread out, yet still identifiable. Everything was as fresh as it can be for Taco Bell. They got my order out super quick, even with them being pretty busy. I was just all around pleasantly surprised and hope this is the quality I'll get every time at this location. I'd definitely start eating at Taco Bell a lot more often if that's the case. What made me even more surprised is that I ordered on the self order kiosk. So I had no interaction with the employees (other than a friendly "hello" walking into the store) to give them special instructions on how I wanted my food beforehand. usually a good friendly establishment, main concern is the employees Skimping Out On The Meat. More specifically the grilled Steak tacos!. I stopped by yesterday, starving, after driving hours on the highway literally just stopped through town to get food. I went through drive through. Im back on the highway opening my food to find that there was only 2 tomatoes on my tacos no cheese on half my order and the tacos were 90% lettuce and avocado ranch. Did not taste the steak. I paid 7 or 8 dollars for that.. seriously?? Almost as if they didnt have the meat Come on guys we pay our moneys worth for those and some of us are on long road trips just passing by for our food. If you dont have the item, just say so.! Dont just sell me a tortilla with lettuce and avocado ranch.. I seriously looked foward to that meal on the way over but Needless to say I was left so demoralized dissatisfied hungry and felt robbed of my money's worth. Frustrating wont be coming back for a while.. Please fix that issue with the staff, whether it be AM or PM the employees should always have the meat and prep line...

Just got my food at around 2:00 pm. Taco Bell worker just lied about putting straws in my bag. The lady giving me the food clearly asked her coworker guy packing the food if he had put in 2 straws in the bag and he said yes. Lie! There was no straws when I got home. I ordered a strawberry and a mountain dew freezes. I usually check to my sure my order have sauce before I move forward but this time I trusted them not to check as it was asked right in front of me!!! Wrong!!! Should always check!!! Taco Bell workers, this just happened! You know who you are! How dare you lied to your coworker!!! This is a big issue to me because this just messes up with trust...
