UPDATED: SEE EDIT AT BOTTOM
This was a while ago now (back in late April) but I still remember it and felt it notable to mention. For unimportant reasons, 12 of us showed up unannounced at Denny’s at 10 at night to celebrate an unimportant thing. Dennys staff, if any of you working that night see this, I just want to say again I am so sorry. But let me tell you, those staff members were amazing.
They treated us so well, even though we put them through so much. They seated us quickly and efficiently, and took all of our orders. Not to mention they got our drinks out fast as all getout. Amazing costumer service, better then anything at most of the fancy restaurants I’ve been too.
The food took a little while but again pretty good compared to other waits I’ve suffered, and this was 12 unannounced people at night. When the food came out, I was expecting mediocre food, alright and kind of filling, but not very good. Hotel restaurant food at best. Let me tell you, when that food came out it was amazing. Probably some of the best I have ever had from a restaurant.
I ordered pancakes and did not regret it at all. Those were some of the best pancakes I have had in my entire life. I don’t know who that cook is that night, but let me tell you that they are going places. That food was amazing, not just by Denny’s standards but by standards for any restaurant. And that wasn’t just true for me, I heard similar statements echoed all around by the table. Once again, that food was amazing.
By the end of our meal, we were stuffed and all left quickly. The staff were kind and polite and patient with us and our slow and primarily cash payments. It was amazing.
Our experience had to be one of the best I have ever had, and I would gladly go again. Looking back, and relative to the conditions (12 unannounced teenagers at night), my Denny’s trip is likely the best dining experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend it.
Dennys staff, if any of you see this, thank you so much and I’m so sorry for the trouble we caused. We hope to come back next year to celebrate the same thing. We will call in advance next time though.
UPDATE: Last night we went for another meal after a show. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating, and the food was pretty good (nothing too special but nothing to complain about). I do however have one major complaint, and that is the prices. It seems a One was added too the front of every price, and with most meals being in the neighborhood of $15. Drink prices were also drastically increased to around $3.50 average if memory serves right.
While I wouldn’t mind paying hotel restaurant prices if I was on vacation, this is a Dennys. I can’t say I’ll be bringing any more groups back here until prices go down or inflation goes up, but I still the experience. The staff were fantastic (thank you so much to the one Alt girl that helped us that I forget the name of). Definitely going to have too lower my review, but I am still very grateful to the staff for...

Decided to randomly give Dennys a try tonight and I will say I’d never return to this location.
First we pull in to the lot, you may find individuals standing outside asking for money on your way in.
We asked for a table for two and as we were getting seated we mentioned that there was a guy outside asking people that were coming in for money.
We sat down and a few minutes later our Server Tyrese already seemed like he was having a bad day upon his greet. Before he greeted us he told the table next to us that he was Sorry for the long wait on the food and that he normally does not work the night shift. He was filling in this week. He didn’t expect it to take that long.
So he finally is able to get to us, took our order. I said Verbatim: Ill get the All American Slam with scrambled eggs, white toast, and add a ham. He cut me off at some point and asked how I wanted my eggs and that they already come scrambled with cheese. I said no cheese. He then asked what kind of toast I wanted because there’s no white bread, that they use buttermilk bread. He picked up our menus after we were ordering and slammed them into the menu holder at the host stand. Then started sighing loudly and even can tell that he was going to the other employees complaining about his guests in plain sight. 15 minutes now has passed and Tyrese our Server said That our food will be up shortly, we said thank you. 10 minutes later has passed again and Tyrese came by and said it was taking longer then normal that they have a new guy working in the back that’s training. We said oh ok. No need to make excuses or anything it’s fine! Tyrese went to the back and talked with a manager Oracle? and we can see them looking at us through the glass window door where the drive thru area is. She came out and said we were being rude to our server Tyrese and didn’t explain how? Then said I’m going to have to ask you guys to leave. We were confused? She got it backwards honestly. Our server was rude to us and his guests, constantly making excuses, and walking around with an attitude. It was very obvious that he was not enjoying his time helping out people. We felt so bad for him afterwards. I also feel bad for other people that have to face these individuals working there.
DO NOT goto Dennys on Debarr! ...
Read moreThe food is great, but drive-thru wait times are ridiculously excessive.
Multiple times I've pulled up to pick up an order for myself or someone else, seen the order sitting right on the shelf next to the window, and had to wait excessively for someone to walk out and hand it to me when I could have easily saved time and grabbed it myself. It's even more infuriating when I can see my order sitting on the shelf, and the employee is just sitting next to the window on their phone.
As an Uber driver, this seriously affects my livelihood. It's at the point where I'm going to start denying trips to this restaurant. Im currently writing this review while waiting in line for 20 minutes, for a measly $4 payout. I still had to spend time driving over here, and still have to spend time driving to the drop-off. Not worth the payout or the time wasted, and the main factor is Denny's excessive wait time.
Just one more thing to add: while I've been writing this, the wait time was so long that someone ran out of gas in line, and now wr all have to wait for them to fill up a jerry can. They should have left the house with more gas, but they also wouldn't have run out of gas in line if we all weren't waiting so long. As far as I'm concerned, this is as much on Denny's as it is on the person who ran out of gas.
The one redeeming perk to this trip was that a Denny's employee came out (about 10 minutes after) to take down people's orders and walked them out to us.
Long story short, if you aren't dining in, this restaurant isn't worth it. Denny's has a nice atmosphere and good food, but if you're ordering or picking up at night, I guarantee you won't get your food on-time, and it'll...
