I placed my order at 12pm today for two sets of the easter decorating kits and they were available on the website. However I received a call from an employee at 2pm (which was the time the order was supposed to be delivered) who informed me that they ran out of the kits and will not be able to fulfill the order. When I asked if they could send plain doughnuts of any kind they said they ran out of doughnuts period, I asked for a full refund and she said "okay but it's going to take a few days" when I informed her that was the only money I had left and I was trying to not leave the house but still have a way for my 4 kids to celebrate, which is why I opted to order this, I needed that money back today in order to go to the store to have Easter for my kids and that this was not acceptable and I was going to file a complaint, she hung up on me....When I tried calling back they didn't answer so I kept calling and then they answered the phone and set it on the counter for 30 seconds, I could hear a beeping sound of a phone off the hook and then they picked it up and hung it up, when I tried to call back (for over 5 mins consistently) the line goes straight to busy. Save ur money and time and go to Krispy creme. If this is how they treat their customers I would hate to see the "care and professionalism" they use to make their products. I will never order from them and will not recommend them to anyone.
Side note: if they are open until 4pm couldn't they have made some in those 2 extra hours???...
Read more*edit to reply to Dino's - The gravy wasn't cold because it was with the dasher too long. The gravy was cold, like straight out of the refrigerator cold. The coffee was perfectly hot, so I know it wasn't sitting with the dasher that long. You can pride yourself in whatever you want, but your workers dropped the ball, not doordash. The first dasher came and quit the order because they were waiting for your staff. After a response like that, I'll be tossing the menus you included and I'll refrain from ordering from Dino's Donuts in the future. I'll be sure to let friends know about this quality of customer care.
I ordered their biscuits and gravy and a coffee through doordash today. I watched the app as a dasher arrived and left and another dasher showed up. 50 minutes later, my dasher is finally headed toward me. According to Google, they were not busy.
I love these donuts, but pouring some pre-made gravy over some already-baked donuts and pouring a plain brew coffee does not take nearly an hour to do. I could have driven down to Golden Donuts twice by now.
*edit The food arrived and the food is cold like it just came from the fridge. Why did I wait an...
Read moreI appreciate the fact that you guys deliver so much, after hours and during your normal business hours. My donut tooth hasn't struck for a while, but it certainly hit with violent urgency tonight. Ordered on DoorDash, and got a nice surprise. The donut gods have blessed me with my all-time childhood favorite, the apple fritter, and a great selection of other special goodies and bonus treats, which made me positively giddy. I took the bone as my first donut and loved the cute smiley face donut that was hiding underneath. So cute and adorable!
Dino's has always been a gem over the years for me when I do get their donuts. Made my night and hit the spot. Donut tooth doesn't ache anymore. I recommend ordering from here or stopping by if you're ever assaulted with a sudden donut tooth ache, or for prevention of a particularly painful episode. They got you covered.
I've heard if you take care of it by having a bite of a great donut at a higher frequency than "rarely/very rarely", it won't turn into an emergency....
