Hideout Lounge and Al's Alaskan Inn Motel — Restaurant in Alaska

Al's Alaskan Inn is an original work of art of Inns! Of Course you have your pool tables, karaoke, bar but the environment is friendly, staff here are great, owner is genuine, there's events that happen here that really gets the house pumping! The rooms are decent with a mini fridge, microwave, bathroom with shower, for smoking and non-smoking, on-site laundry room, and the price justify the means. The location is perfect too! Dimond Center Mall is nearby, walking distance to Taku Lake, and you got to have your Wal-Mart! What really set this place apart is the friendly atmosphere. The moment you walk in, you're immediately seen and welcomed with a smile and it's not that generic smile then going through the motions, it's the "Hello I'm glad to see you finally joined us" smile. I am unfortunately homeless with my 3 yr. Old and mother, this is the only place we can find that still does weekly rates during summer, the room they decided to put us in has 1 full size bed, is directly above the bar, doesnt have one table or chair, no door for the bathroom area or even the toilet area, just completely open with a window where other guest are easily able to accidentally see us. The shower floor was covered in hair, I've seen 2 bugs in the sink and I cant find a singal heating vent. I would have thought for $300 a week we would have a small fridge but no. It really sucks to realize that a local place like this would allow a family to pay all they have and feel this is what they deserve. I can only hope they will give me back the majority of what i paid to find...

I'm from Cali (mexican) and my boyfriend was showing me around and we went to a few spots downtown and I wasn't really feeling it. Asked me if I wanted to hit up this spot. He was telling me Most of the Samoans go to Al's (He's Samoan) We arrived. Good size parking lot. Easy parking. Got inside and the music the DJ played was definitely more of my preference. They had hip hop and some reggaeton. Their mixes were great too. The drinks are reasonably priced. Abt $7. The place was packed it was almost 1am when we left but noticed that it was packed because everyone stays in the front. We went to the back where it was less crowded.
