Main Event Grill — Restaurant in Alaska

This was the 3rd time I've ordered from here. Both times before, food and service was on point. My food was ready when they said it was, if not earlier. But this 3rd time was a complete 180°. Ordered Cheeseburger egg rolls for take out through their website. I get a message saying that my food will be ready at 12pm when I ordered at 11:25am. So already a 30 min wait. Not a big deal. Good food ain't fast, I respect that. Well, when I showed up at 12, there was one person ahead of me waiting to order. That took about 4 mins. I walked up after they were done and told the worker the name on my order. She replies saying that she doesn't think the order is ready so she's gonna go check the back. She returns a couple mins later but doesn't say anything to me. I probably waited another 5 mins hoping she would give me an update. It wasn't until I walked back up to the counter and asked what's the status on my order but it was a different person than before. She tells me that their printer isn't working so my order hasn't even been started on yet. I understand that unfortunate things happen like this, but to have waited 30+ mins for a small order and the stand offish customer service was enough. No discount was offered, just a half ass apology. I demanded my money be refunded immediately and I walked out. Won't be going back due to POOR...

I have not been there in a while, I now know why no one was at the counter when I arrived, finally she did show up to take my order. My first disappointment is that you are not able to order two burgers and a side of fries you have to order two burgers and two sides of fries because every burger comes with a side of fries. Spent money I didn’t think I needed to spend for stuff I didn’t want. After the lady took my order she disappeared back behind the counter into the kitchen. I could hear her gossiping and talking back there. Maybe she was helping them cook. But the next people in the door had to wait as well as me. Food condition The burger was burnt dry and hard. The only thing good about it is it was kind of warm. The fries were brown, overcooked and very crunchy. The mushroom Swiss sandwich was the only Highpoint. It was well cooked. Really cheesy and delicious. Sidenote, at the front of the store It advertises that they are garlic fries and I mean garlic. Two hours later, the ones I didn’t eat are still odorous until I was able to throw them away and get them out of my vehicle. And the best advice I can tell you is be like the employees who were sitting off the side of the front counter, eating Carl’s Jr.. Be like the employees at this restaurant eat...

Enjoyed the Hot Mess Burger with Garlic Fries!

I really enjoyed the flavors and heat of the burger, most should enjoy it without too much fuss. I personally like more heat but flavor and temperature was spot on!!

Garlic fries were crinkle cut style Must have served me some from the warming tray. Unfortunately only warm and garlic flavor wasn't as pronounced as I have heard. Normally I eat all fries first but not this time. But I hold hope that next will be much better. Offered for a fresh one but I declined. Though the teen said that I must have let them sit too long. He was young so no big issue. I simply informed I generally eat all fries before the burger because fresh fries are wonderful.

Also had the Blue Raspberry Lemonade, very tasty and refreshing!! Like how container was sealed, just poked with straw to open

Friend had the Thai Peanut Chicken Salad. Once she got a good fresh one was beautiful and very tasty, warm chicken on side to mix with the Thai Peanut Sauce. Nice large portion. For two to share or save as leftovers.

Side note first salad looked fresh but saw a small patch of fuzz on some red peppers on the corner inside of container. This was quickly rectified with a new salad. Service...
