I go to this McDonaldâs almost daily since I recently had a baby who I visit everyday in the Nicu. They do an amazing job 9 out of 10 times! It seems like Management needs to work on their supervisors and leadership. Sometimes when I go in, people are actually happy to serve you, and have a good attitude. Other times like today 07/14 @1:30pm⌠itâs seems like everyone is miserable. Not a single smile from a single worker,
the lady taking my order had me laughing at her lack of customer service. Every time I ordered she would constantly say âokayâŚ. Anything else..?â Like girl, yeah. I literally got a combo I still need to order my drink. âOkayâŚ. Anything else..?â Yeah Itâs supposed to be a large meal. âOkayâŚ. Anything elseâŚ?â Yeah, Iâll take BBQ sauce âOkay⌠Anything elseâŚ?â She never asked what size meal I want, never asked what drink I wanted, didnât ask what sauce I wanted. All she cared about was when I would stop ordering. The way she acted was the fault of leadership. A good leader wouldnât allow their employees to have so much animosity towards their customers. If someone has an attitude or is off, leadership should be speaking to that employee about their performance.
Then I got up to the window. He seemed as miserable as the lady taking my order. I got a â$12.20â âŚ. Handed over my money âRecipient?â âNo, thank youâ Handed Back Change I said âThank Youâ Shut window.
(Like dang, leadership should be bring up morale of their employees. I canât even blame them for all having attitudes when leadership obviously wasnât doing their job of outputting positive redirection.)
I then get to the window to pick up my food. The lady Hands food âYour drink will be out..â Walks away. When my drink is finished.. Hands me drink I say âThank Youâ She walks away.
I realized that they had gotten my drink wrong since I got a coffee with extra syrup, and there wasnât any syrup at all in the drink. So I went inside to see if they could just add syrup, I even brought my receipt so they knew I wasnât lying.
The girl who made my drink the first time said âI literally added the syrupâ. With so much attitude. I even told them not to worry about remaking the drink, all I wanted was syrup to be added into the drink. They added the syrup and handed me the drink I said âThank youâ and the guy who handed it to me just looked at me. So I assumed he didnât hear me so I said it again⌠âThank You.â And he just had the worst look on his face and walked away.
The entire experience was negative. Not a single employee wanted to be there today, and they showed it. Itâs really sucks to see every employee have such a negative/miserable time at work. As someone who used to be a manager before becoming a stay at home mom, I can confirm that this was the fault of leadership at the end of the day. Who ever was in charge today really needs to evaluate their role they were given and ask themselves if they are truly qualified to be in their position. Because leadership is more than just being in charge of your...
Read moreMy mother and a friend and I went to this location to have breakfast this Morning, I failed to note the young man's name but he was polite, he delivered us our coffee to us early snd later our meals. He was very young, probably his first job, but he was cheerful, respectful, accommodating and it was refreshing to see such a good work attitude from such a young man eager to be so happy in his work and happy to serve us. This young man really stood out with his cheerful attitude. This young man will go far in his working life with a work ethic like that. Whatever he does, where ever he goes, I just know he'll be a success. I'm going to phone up the location tomorrow because I believe he deserves to know how McDonald's made a right choice in hiring him and how he has done his job so joyfully and sincerely. He truly cared about the people he served. It made the whole day take on a nice note because of him. I wanted to edit this because I forgot to add that a person like this is Management material. This young man will go far, he knows how to work, he knows how to treat people, he's just a people person. I never met this young man before, but If I owned a company, I'd pay him three times as much to work for me! I was...
Read moreI rarely eat fast food but on this day we stopped after an appt and waited 15 mins to make our order at the drive thru which I had to repeat no less than 4 times and it was a super simple order then drove up to the first window to pay where we waited an additional 10 mins while an employee stared at us through the window but didnât open it or ask for our payment. We assumed the 2nd window was accepting the payments however when we arrived we had to repeat our order three more times and then they demanded our âreceiptâ and when we brought up waiting for 10 mins at their payment window to be ignored and asked if anyone was actually working the window they looked at us dismayed. đ¤ˇââď¸They kept demanding our receipt as if we were trying to steal food instead of acknowledging weâd love to pay if the employees would actually take action to collect our money. At any rate we left without paying for our food and went to the 36th Ave location which managed all in less than 10 Mins. Wonât go to this location again it appears they have no useful management and the critical thinking skills...
