I'm never a karen but Marla (glasses and sleeve tattoo on arm) is actually the worst and I'm genuinely so curious as to how she is still working here. I've lived here since December and have had a horrible experience with her every time I come in. She always has a nasty attitude to everybody. Everybody I know since moving here has all had bad experiences with her. She likes to refer to every order thats off the menu or milk changed for dietary reasons a "stupid tiktok drink thats not even real" I tried ordering a drink that I normally order that I was word for word reading off of a picture of a starbucks cup and she cut me off mid sentence to say "Yeah thats another stupid tiktok drink thats not even real" (She's said this line to 2 other people I know.) I ordered something else for her convenience and when we got to the window, my husband was trying to hand her his card and she just shoved the drinks in our faces and slammed the window shut while we were trying to pay. She wouldn't open the window for us to pay after we sat there for a bit, so we left. The other day my friends and I went and she handed us our drinks, but no straws, so my friend asked "Excuse me, could we get some straws please?" And she froze in her tracks with the nastiest look and sarcasm in her voice and said "Yeah. I'm getting them." How is she still employed here? And why? I've read other reviews about her too and none are ever good. She is incredibly bad for business and I feel extremely sorry for whoever has to work with her or encounters her at this location. She seems miserable. 0 customer service skills. As a customer service worker of 5 1/2 years I can understand we have bad days, but her behavior is beyond unacceptable and...
Read moreWhile at the drive-thru this afternoon, I ordered my usual medium iced coconut macchiato, and iced tea that my teen ordered. The order-taker had a montone voice, and sounded irritated that we didn't know what flavors of iced tea they offered. She asked very slowly, "What kind?" It seemed like she asked slowly to emphasize how stupid she thought the question was. I also just reviewed the Starbucks menu online, and saw that there were many Teavana flavors. However, a rep skilled in providing great customer service would at least name a few for a customer. When I discussed her behavior at the window, she didn't seem receptive to my feedback. She said she provided me with good customer service. Another woman who identified herself as a manager agreed with the order-taker that her employee provided me with acceptable customer service. I tried to explain why I disagreed with them, but the manager asked me to "Leave!" The manager then closed the drive-thru window. They were busy on a Saturday afternoon, but it's not acceptable to be treated in such a way. I really wish I video recorded the interaction! I then went to Starbucks across from the Dimond Center, and noticed that there were three flavors of Teavana iced tea listed on their menu. I received better service, and excellent coffee at...
Read moreI used to love this location but lately I feel like it has gone downhill. The staff used to be so friendly in the drive through and now I feel rushed through ordering two drinks and usually skip the food item I wanted to order due to the barista saying "is that all" in an irritated voice after ordering each drink. The line wasn't even long this morning. There were maybe 4 cars in front of me and none behind me until I got to the window. My drinks were still wrong. No soy milk and no espresso in my chai tea latte when I had asked for both. When I asked at the window if my latte had espresso in it after not seeing it listed on the sticker, the barista said, "espresso doesn't come in a chai tea latte." I know. Which is why I had ordered a few shots to be added at the speaker. I never complain at the shop and usually just deal with the mistake so as to not upset the barista, which is sad for how much money I'm paying for coffee at this place. This happens so often now at this location that I'm done going...
