The first time we have experienced Texas Roadhouse, the service was amazing, the food was excellent, to the point where we decided to return. I wanted to see if it was just a one time type of service because they were already informed it was our first time and needed to be a lil extra?! N of course we enjoyed the food so much we just wanted to see if it would be the same amazing taste. First time was excellent service, even though they were busy, they still managed to keep up with our refills and explained or recommended dishes, & the food was more fresh tasting (just got off the grill, not just sitting and waiting to be dropped off at the table). Second time around, we sat inside, waiting to be called for our seats. One of the hostess, dirty blonde with messy curls in a ponytail thought it was the perfect time to clean the window n blindfolds right next to me. She just hopped on the bench n started spraying and dusting away. I found it very rude and reminded myself that some people just have no common sense, poor work ethic. Besides allowing her ignorance to ruin our second chance at Texas Roadhouse, our server was really nice and took her time to breathe, and ask us patiently what we would like to order. We didn't feel rushed or having to ask her to repeat herself. The food was alright this time around and the drinks were definitely more potent than the first time. Regardless, I know not each time we will have the same experience. But seriously, work on your employees to understand the chemicals they could have been spraying into a person's eyes as they wait to dine in. Or the dust that could cause someone's allergies to act up. We definitely plan on returning, it has been one of the best places to have a really good steak and drinks for a good price. dine in is the best. service and food is great. take out is meh. not much thought goes into it. first time i did take out it took a few minutes after promised time and they didn’t get the silverware requested nor cinnamon dip for the rolls. they had no line so we could’ve got a table instantly if we weren’t taking out, only the kitchen was busy. best they could do is pre-prep the loaded bake potato but they just give u a whole potato and not even a slice down the middle to help out. maybe i’m just picky lol. i wouldn’t recommend taking out if u had the choice. dine in is always a great experience tho! the food taste the same and yummy as always either way. service is just different. second time was a little better.

update: did another takeout and it took past 30minutes of my promised time AND i ordered 1 HOUR ahead of time. i don’t have time. i have a 30minute lunch break to pick it up and eat. not happy at all with their take out. gonna have to do pick up time 30 mins BEFORE my lunch starts just so they can make my takeout food ready by the time i come. jesus christ. nevermind i’m honestly NEVER EVER gonna do take out again.

i almost asked to cancelled it at 30min mark but just as i was walking to the window AGAIN i got the text 30 minutes LATER than the time. got my food 30min late but had NO TIME to eat anything. wasted my lunch today. kitchens busy i get but i have limited time and i ordered wayyy ahead of time.
