It was a last minute choice and my husband and I were not disappointed. It’s my birthday and I chose to come here and it was great! Next time we come we will definitely try the hot pot or grill our own meat but today we just chose the meals from the kitchen. For appetizers we got egg rolls and popcorn garlic chicken and for our meals we chose fried rice and the garlic chicken quarter leg. I would recommend the popcorn chicken over the egg rolls, especially if you’re feeding a family or more than 2 people since there’s a lot and it’s yummy. I think the best part was definitely our meals. I really enjoyed the seasoning on every single dish we had especially the garlic chicken and the leafs it came with!!!! We were also impressed at the bowl size of fried rice. Totally recommend. Altogether the meal with two fountain drinks was $87 (including tip). I think it is high end but it is bbq/hot pot so it makes sense, but my husband and I enjoyed it regardless since we don’t eat at restaurants often. Our servers were polite and checked on us often enough. We came in about 6 pm on a weekday so not too many people so the vibe of the restaurant was very relaxed and quiet. We will be back! Thanks for a great birthday...
Read moreThe idea of the interactive restaurant sounded exciting, but it was severely overpriced. One meal was $20 for two lamb chops, and the other was $25 for pork belly which was basically three strips of thick cut bacon. The two meals together came with one bowl of lettuce for sharing and a small bowl of pickled cabbage to share. When you pay the price of a typical meal at a restaurant you should get a full meal, like some meat, rice, and veggies. Instead we left still hungry.
We would have ordered hotpot soup, but that was also overpriced. You pay $15 for broth alone, then you pay to add noodles ($5-6), you pay to add vegetables ($25), and you pay to add meat ($25-$34). It quickly adds up, and there is no way to do a meat and veggie combo unless you want to spend a lot. Like the BBQ, it would be nice to have one full hot pot meal that comes all together as a full meal. The broth, noodles, vegetables, and a meat.
The service was good, and the atmosphere nice. Very cute robot that brings your drinks. The Soju drink was fantastic made with fresh ingredients and care!!!
Would only come back if the pricing became reasonable with options of getting a full meal...
Read moreDisappointed… We were excited to try this place but our hot pot came out and we found a worm in our vegetables. This would not have been a a huge issue had the staff handled it properly. We told our waitress and she took away the vegetables and told the manager. We did not hear anything about this issue until the bill came. Nobody said anything about the worm in our food or offered to replace it. We finally talked to the waitress and said we did not want to pay for the vegetables with the worms. The waitress went to talk to the manager, the manager came over to talk to us we told him again what we found and that we did not want to pay for the vegetables that we didn’t eat. The manager only said okay and walked away. The manager sent our waitress back over and said they were not going to take the $25 veggies off the bill but could give us 10% off on the bill. We ended up just saying okay and couldn’t wait to just get out of there after all the unproductive back and forth. Not to mention we had to go get something else for dinner because we were...
