Sunrise Bagel & Espresso — Restaurant in Alaska

Overall, I usually enjoy getting Sunrise in the mornings. However, their product inconsistency is frustrating and has led me to migrate to other coffee shops. First, they changed the egg patties to be smaller and they do not fit the bagel at all. Expect to only taste bagel. Second, they used to have giant cookies with chocolate chunks that were so good. At some point they either temporarily or permanently changed their chocolate chip cookies and they became half the size and half as good for the same price. Third, their plain bagels are disgusting, never eat them. I do like their plain bagels and that’s what I order my breakfast sandwich on. However, they ran out of cheddar bagels and instead toasted cheddar onto plain bagels which was bad. Overall, I wouldn’t mind if they had mentioned any of these changes but they don’t. I pay for it then get a significantly worse product than I expected. I would much rather them say they’re either out of the product or let me know it’s different than replace it with something I would not by. Lowkey scam behavior. The hits should be run/managed better for this. It’s ok to be out of products, not okay to give customers worse...

06/23 10am We went to the stand on college road this morning, When we pulled up, there was 5-6 cars per side, we didn't wait any longer then normal during a busy time, im sure morningcoffeeand breakfast. When we got up to the window this poor girl was working by herself, she didn't even give any excuses, all she said was, I'm so sorry for the wait, with a smile on her face. After asking her, she said her co-worker called out sick and she couldn't get a hold of anyone to come in. She was taking orders, making food, drinks and cashiering all while making conversation with a smile on her face, this girl rocked it, some people have it and some don't, Alex definitely has what it takes to work under pressure! I was so impressed just in the short time I was there, I wanted to go inside and help her. I just can't believe she was left on her own for an entire shift. Crazy!! Our drinks were so good, definitely didn't lack quality!...

My husband got a works burrito. It’s supposed to have Canadian bacon, bacon, eggs, potatoes, and salsa. He’s allergic to dairy and we told them but this is what we got in the burrito. Hash brown and sausage that it looks like they threw it in there and didn’t really make it a burrito at all. They didn’t communicate that they were not putting eggs or salsa or both bacons. We waited over 25 minutes in line, so we didn’t really check the food before we left because we just wanted to leave after waiting so long and didn’t want to go back because there was a super long line already.
