The bowls were always so generous with the poke, sauce and the vegetables were mainly romaine lettuce… nowadays the romaine lettuce has turned to cabbage (which I can’t eat), you get more rice, and the ahi poke has been removed from the menu. The regular poke doesn’t even touch the sides of the bowl anymore… prices have increased and yet the quality has gone down. I’m looking into creating my own poke bowls so I can save money and eat poke the way I like it.

I changed my review to 3 stars because I do want to support local businesses and I still like top bop. But I no longer can justify the price for what I’m getting.

5 ⭐️ review from 2019: I eat Top Bop 1-4 times a week! My usual order is Ahi Poke Bop with masago egg; with Thai tea and coffee jelly. The coffee jelly isn’t made from an extremely dark roast, nor a blond roast. It is somewhere in between; acts as a nice balancing flavor in the sweet Thai tea.

Occasionally I’ll get the chocopie and/or spam musubi. The musubi has a nice ratio between rice, spam and egg. Some places I’ve gotten musubi from put waaay too much rice for my taste, but it’s all personal preference. It’s always heated up for you before they hand it to you as well.

If you like Carr's Chinese deli you're going to love Top Bop and never go back. It's an easy order menu. There's several choices, you can mix and match, and several heat levels. There's also tempura shrimp, fried gyoza, and other appetizers. There's also different pastas you can get if you don't want the Asian flavors. Such as spaghetti and meatballs with a red sauce. I've never gotten more than the regular size bowl and it's always been enough for two servings. It's very inexpensive. The staff is super friendly the store is clean. You can eat in get it to go or delivered. But I think delivery is just the pasta selection.once I finally got my teenagers to go with me they decided it was the best place on Earth and they've eaten their multiple times since then it's their go-to they have given up the Carr's deli. I totally recommend this to all my friends and family that what fast cheap but really good Asian...

When I first started going years back, this was my favorite place to get the poke bop. Good portion of poke with a bed of lettuce and rice and good price. After eating it, I always felt good and recommended it to all my friends. It has gone DOWN HILL and everytime I go now, I feel disappointed like I need to find another place that serves good poke. Today I ordered...the poke was such a small portion and instead, it's filled with sooo much rice. There's no more lettuce but a weird cabbage coleslaw looking mix. You know that feeling when ur hungry so you order something you know will make you happy, but you're let down with what you have and become super Hangry instead? Yeh, that was today.
