Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Albany

I got a five dollar meal box with higher expectations than I should've had. The food didn't LOOK appetizing at all (except for the fries). Luckily, my spicy, or rather not spicy, chicken sandwich tasted alright. The double cheeseburger, however, didn't even make it to an enjoyable level on any regard. It looked pathetic and tasted about how it looked. It's a shame they look literally completely different from the pictures and don't even have the taste you'd expect at even a McDonald's or Burger King.

The soda is pretty good from what I've had here, but that's hardly a reason to write home. The (cold) cookie is nothing special, and the fries are decent but not anything remarkable.

The floors are greasy and slippery. The staff themselves are somewhat friendly, but from the impression the restaurant left upon me I cannot say that they are very competent at their jobs. At least the restaurant's décor is pretty nice. It's got a solid retro feel.

Overall, I haven't been to any Carl's Jr for years but cannot recommend at least this one. If you really like Carl's Jr then it might be good to you. Personally, I'd probably go across the street...

Horrible customer service and cold food. We were passing through on a road trip and stopped by. Both burgers were cold so we turned around to get new ones (I work in customer service at a restaurant so I’m very patient and understanding, things happen) the process of taking back the food and getting new ones took 17 minutes due to the drive through only being open. We finally got to the window and asked for our food, we also asked for a new fries because after our 17 minute wait our fries (that we already paid for) were now also cold. We were told no by a worker named Alicia. I asked Alicia if her manager was aware she wouldn’t give us a new fry and she said yes, that her manager of the name John wouldn’t allow her to. I offered to give her the cold ones in exchange for new ones and again, Alicia told me “I don’t want those and I can’t get you new ones”. $15 and 30 minutes later we left with our cold fries and new burgers which were still and again, cold. Our food got tossed in the garbage next to the $15 and 30 minutes of time we wasted going to...

Don't go here. We were in line and the man in front of us got upset because they messed up his order. We waited for ten minutes. Our food finally came and went to the car. I had ordered a chicken charboiled. When I unwrapped it I saw they had put practically an entire head of lettuce on it. I looked at what was inside. They hadn't even put the right sauce on. Not only was the chicken patty soggy but there was a burger patty on it as well. I took it back in and got a new one. I waited another 5 minutes for them to make it. The lettuce on this one wasn't even the same kind of lettuce and they had gotten the sauce wrong again, not to mention they missed the cheese both times. We gave up. The chicken strips were nothing but hard thick breading and a small amount of dry, overly salted chicken. We are never setting foot in this...
