I got the Whiting with shrimp and six honey garlic wings. Let’s start, the whiting wasn’t good at all. It wasn’t seasoned. You can tell they didn’t season the fish or the flour. Just dumped it in the grease, which is what it taste like. Fish had no flavor at all just breaded plain fish.

The shrimp was actually decent, could’ve been bigger. I gave them two stars instead of one for this.

The wings were also disappointing. No flavor even through they were supposed to be flavored. Just greasy chicken with no flavor. Also, the wings weren’t even in wing shape.

The fries can be a lot better, just soft and kinda cheap tasting.

Also the hot sauce was pathetic, not hot just red 40 with a kick of cayenne pepper.

If Cod Tail reads this, PLEASE season your flour and your meat, it’s not hard to do and change your fries. And for your wings, season them then fry them then coat them in the flavored sauce.

Wasted $22 for greasy garbage, couldn’t even finish it.

They also give you a cheap Wonder bread with your meal, don’t even toast it...

HORRIBLE! Don't even deserve one star! Ordered what was SUPPOSED to been a pound of crawfish & it's wasn't NEAR a pound, and not to mention out of the 6 crawfish I received I was only able to eat 4 of them! I would've been better off going to Walmart & biting into a raw potato off they shelf, the potatoes weren't cook all the way! Last time i ordered a pound I wasn't even able to finish all my crawfish due to it ACTUALLY being a pound, I called soon they opened and regardless I should've received what I asked for. I don't even eat corn, and had to finally eat my corn just to get full. Bad business! Will no longer spend my money here, and neither should...

I was craving a shrimp and crawfish boil, but I didn't feel like driving across town to go to King Claw, so I settled for Cod Tail. I've been here a few times before when they first opened up, and each time before, my food was pretty good. This time around, it was unfortunately not. My shrimp boil lacked flavor. The juices were just season-less watery soup. You can tell the potatoes and corn sat in the water for way too long, and the crawfish were questionable (after eating two, I just gave up on eating the rest).
