This place used to be really good pre pandemic. Decent price, good quality food, and the sushi was pretty fresh consistently. As of 2024 however, the only things I usually get here, are Potatos, Cajun Chicken, and Crab/Salmon Nigiri. A lot of the hot food is either overcooked or just has a really weird taste to it, almost as if the ingredients were stale. The sushi is also a gamble. The Nigiri is usually fine, since it's just rice and fish, but the rest have a very mushy texture and taste like they haven't been changed since they opened for the day. Never get the deep fried Sushi, because they don't change it often, and instead of kept warm under a heated area, it's grouped with the normal sushi, which has Ice under it to keep it cold. I hope the food gets better again because I really liked this place when it was good. The staff are still very kind and the atmosphere is still good, just the food quality isn't too worth it.
UPDATE 11/2024: I went at lunch to see if much had changed anddddd..... nah still the same. Food still had weird textures, the "hot" sushi was still extremely cold, and the Salmon/Tuna Nigiri had a weird starting taste. The Rice Noodles were a plus though, it actually tasted pretty fresh. I just wish they would change out the sushi more often, especially the Deep Fried rolls. I will update this review every 5 to 6 months and change the stars depending on if it's...
Read moreDo not eat here! I went to eat there with someone and it was horrible! Everything tasted like it was cooked in the same pot. The noodles tasted like paste, egg rolls were cold and stale, the pepper steak tasted like it was something other than steak. The texture was gummy and it had an odd flavor, I do not believe at all that that was steak. The only thing I can eat was the sweet and sour chicken and ice cream ice cream out of the cooler that is ice cream like I was given when I was in elementary grade school. They were too cheap to actually put kwality ice cream out, or ice cream in a machine with a cone. So as we got ready to leave we wanted to take our drink with us I had done decided at that point that I probably would never eat Chinese again. Ask the hostess for a to-go cup and she tried to charge us two more dollars for a styrofoam cup. After leaving I decided I was not going to eat Chinese anymore and the person who was with me stomach began to hurt them and they got really sick we believe food poisoning they were sick for about 2 days. DONT EAT THERE !! IT WAS A HORRIFIC...
Read morePro,s: Excellent food, hot flavorful, fresh and a decent selection. Prices was a little high but not too bad. Cons: Still believe if you wear a mask at the buffet bar yet can sit and eat with no mask on somehow covid knows the difference 🤣 . They still believe masks actually work with no scientific peer reviewed studies. They don't. Another show of complete stupidity is the fact They give you foam plates and extremely cheap flimsy plastic wear to eat with (in assuming for sanitary means) BUT serve you your drink in the normal beverage glasses. 🧐. Fear and stupidity knows no bounds. There's a mask sign as you enter the building but there's no sign informing you they are doctors also and want to take your temperature. Lastly make sure you eat all your food because on the napkin containers there's a warning that if you leave too much food on your plate (I guess it's at there discretion what's to much, could be a piece of broccoli or a lot of lo mein you love but can't stand the way they prepared it) they will charge you extra as carryout on top of your normal dining...
