Nomi Tea — Restaurant in Albany

HEALTH ISSUE!! READ TO THE BOTTOM!! Not the worst quality, but something is wrong with the drinks. I got the rose milk tea with dark brown sugar boba and it tasted ok. The drink was bland and tasted mostly like ice. The boba was meh. It was cooked well and the texture was pretty good but it was cold meaning it wasn't fresh and it tasted flavorless, so definitely not brown sugar boba. My friend's drink tasted weird and her friend tried it and said something was wrong with the milk so she stopped drinking it. I drank most of mine because it tasted fine, but tonight, my stomach started hurting terribly and I'm almost sure I got food poisoning. I can't fathom where else I would have gotten it and I think it was Nomi. To top it off, they told us it would take 20 minutes for our drinks and we ended up waiting 50 :/ Terrible service. Would give 0...

Update: They filled my own cup and are now using paper straws. This is no my favorite boba location in the way bay. You can walk in to order now and there is a really great atmosphere. If you find yourself on Solano Ave you have to stop by here.

Really good bubble tea! I always get the Thai Tea, Less Ice, 25% sweet (50% if I really need a sugar rush). Order online via the web site (they take apple, google pay, and Cash App.) usually done much faster than they say it will take.

P.S. If you are used to other bubble T's I would start with 75%-100% sweet and work your way down to 50%. I find 50% to be perfect but I don't...

Let me start with saying that it is admirable that this establishment serves in reusable cups! Drink #1 was the premium iced Thai tea. I ordered the brown sugar boba but what I got tasted like regular boba. The tea was thinner than I am used to and was less sweet than the standard- which isn't a bad thing. Drink #2 was Passion Fruit tea with lychee jelly. Let me tell you...that drink was the most delicious thing that I have put in my mouth! At 47 years old that's really saying something.
