Had an appointment in Albany, Georgia to have boat seats re-upholstered and decided to stop on way home to Eufaula, Alabama to have breakfast...Upon walking in we were greeted by a lovely lady with smiles and joy greeting us...Upon ordering the young lady at register greeted us with smiles and joy...Upon going to our table we had several staff whom were working greet us as they went by with smiles, joy, and pleasantries...Now it's pretty easy to find an eatery that has good food...It's also common to find an eatery that has good service...This however, was the first place I've ever been where there was good food, good service, and TREMENDOUS outgoing, welcoming, joyous personalities from all staff that was directed at every single guest in the restaurant...I'm here to state that any time I'm in Albany, Georgia it will be on my to do list to stop at Pearly's for a good meal and a dose of infectious cheerful personalities!!! Read moreI read the reviews before going to this restaurant. They were not accurate. Only nice thing I have to say is the staff was hospitable. My husband ordered the pancake platter. The pancakes were not homemade but from the premade box then put on a grill to heat. The turkey sausage was the preheated version. I had an egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuit was not homemade but the premade/frozen kind. I know all of this because I’m a foodie and I do A Lot of baking and cooking at home. My cooking is from recipes about 50% of the time. I’m hoping that I just came on an off day for the kitchen, and that the next time I make it back it’ll be a better experience for me. I will come back and update my review if...
