My husband has come here at least 10 times before he goes to work and he always raves about Pearly’s. I finally got to make it over and try it for myself and I’m really sad to say to say it was really underwhelming. The drive through service was great. There was a pretty long line around the building, but there were some (really friendly) ladies going through the line and quickly taking orders. Due to that, by the time I was directed to a parking spot I was only waiting about 10 minutes before I got my food. I got a chicken biscuit w/ egg on it, and a banana nut muffin. The biscuit itself was moist and buttery, but the chicken was really dry and the grease made it taste off. Like it was old, almost. The egg was yummy. The muffin was…odd. I took a few of bites out of it and decided it wasn’t for me. I’m hoping that I just came on an off day for the kitchen, and that the next time I make it back it’ll be a better experience for me. I will come back and update my review if that’s the case!

THE FOOD!!!! we had to uber over. our driver said the food was delicious. he said everything! miss betty and miss jewels were so kind and hospitable! where to begin… biscuits and GRAVY - so i normally dont like gravy but oh my goodness - i got it on the side and wound up eating it with a spoon it was so good! the biscuits were so good and buttery… the lima beans and collards… so good! the corn bread…. we got the fried chicken and beef tips to go with mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, limas to go, which we shall savour tomorrow. buttermilk pie - homemade - peach cobbler and banana pudding…. freshly brewed sweet tea…. they open at 5:45am and close atc2pm i believe. once 10:30am (when lunch is ready) that place was nonstop - with people ordering inside and the line at the drive through. if you are ever in Albany GA and are looking for true southern hospitality and great food - this is where to eat!!! thank you to the whole staff that makes that place run so smoothly. God bless you!

Albany, GA. Where I work in the healthcare field. My coworker (Monica) and I was getting off. She was very hungry and decide to treat. I use to eat here at Pearlys but it's been a while. As we entered the parking lot, which was clean, I could tell it was very packed inside. Drive thur line was long and barely a place to park. We entered the location and it was full to capacity. I order a bacon breakfast bowl. This bowl contains grits, eggs, cheese, and of course bacon. We was seated. Table was very clean and our food was ready within minutes. I added some salt and pepper and butter to my bowl. The food was splendid and very good, hot and fresh. Monica gave one of her pancakes and I added pecan syrup on it along with sum butter. Best pancake I have ever had. Customer service was very good from the time I entered to the time I left. The price was very inexpensive. I had an awesome time. Great and extremely impressive service by the waiters and waitresses.

Had an appointment in Albany, Georgia to have boat seats re-upholstered and decided to stop on way home to Eufaula, Alabama to have breakfast...Upon walking in we were greeted by a lovely lady with smiles and joy greeting us...Upon ordering the young lady at register greeted us with smiles and joy...Upon going to our table we had several staff whom were working greet us as they went by with smiles, joy, and pleasantries...Now it's pretty easy to find an eatery that has good food...It's also common to find an eatery that has good service...This however, was the first place I've ever been where there was good food, good service, and TREMENDOUS outgoing, welcoming, joyous personalities from all staff that was directed at every single guest in the restaurant...I'm here to state that any time I'm in Albany, Georgia it will be on my to do list to stop at Pearly's for a good meal and a dose of infectious cheerful personalities!!! Thank you for showing everyone that you can have employees that are happy in their work and present quality food, service,...

I read the reviews before going to this restaurant. They were not accurate. Only nice thing I have to say is the staff was hospitable. My husband ordered the pancake platter. The pancakes were not homemade but from the premade box then put on a grill to heat. The turkey sausage was the preheated version. I had an egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuit was not homemade but the premade/frozen kind. I know all of this because I’m a foodie and I do A Lot of baking and cooking at home. My cooking is from recipes about 50% of the time. Also I cook in large quantities sometimes for others. The sign that says Country Cooking doesn’t live up to its name. I’m from Virginia in the country and our food tastes better than that. The diners up North like NJ and NY have better food. Very disappointed customer. I usually give restaurants another when I have a bad experience this I will not due to it being so bad. I don’t leave reviews that often but I had to this time. My recommendation is not to go there unless you have no...
