Our family has been going to this fabulous taco restaurant for almost 20 years, its our favorite TACO place..!!! The staff is super friendly and excellent..!! It's open for lunch, and great for family dinner or quiet dinner for two. Children welcome here. The best tacos!!! The food here has really gone downhill. Just recently ordered to go. I’m a vegetarian so ordered cheese enchiladas and my friend ordered their carne asada taco plate. We also order guacamole and chips and 2 slices of flan. We had been moving furniture all day so were hungry and exhausted. Opening the food we found my enchiladas were pork not cheese. My friends carne asada taco plate ( $12) had literally two tablespoons of meat, a whole bunch of lettuce and sour cream but no tortillas! As l couldn’t eat the pork enchilada I dug into the guac and chips- it was not guacamole. It was some green colored sauce which tasted nasty and bore no resemblance to guacamole except for the color. Flan is my favorite desert and it looked good so l tried the flan. OMG! It was not sweet at all and tasted like unseasoned scrambled eggs but with a residual taste that l can only compare to the smell of cat per. This was a $40 order and just about all of it went in the trash. I don’t know what happened to this place but we certainly won’t eat here again. I ordered a taco salad and when I got home I poured all of the salsa toppings on it and took "one bite" and bit into a rotten piece of tomato. Needless to say it was thrown in the garbage. This is not my 1st experience with taco salads. One other visit I ordered a taco salad and I was charged for one but all I got was a regular green salad. I called the restaurant and they agreed to give me a free taco salad the next time we came in. When we tried to get the replacement, we were denied by one of the employees. She said, "because there was no note regarding this issue that they could not honor it". We have been customers of this restaurant since it has been in Albany as well as Lebanon. We really enjoyed being customers of this establishment but they need to make sure that orders are correct, complete and that food is the freshest possible not just in the restaurant but also when orders are to go.
