This is my first online restaurant review I have written but as an industry professional I had to post this. 3 tacos, 1 burrito that wasn't even rolled correctly cost me $22 and had me waiting 20 minutes in a drive through window. The drive through was not operational so you were forced to place your order at the window. While my food was being cooked vehicles started pulling in behind me and no staff went to take there order and because of this negligence $100 plus worth of business drove off due to the wait. The gentleman who took my order at the window had time to do 2 deliveries in his vehicle while I waited. The food was dry, bland, tasteless and so far from anything remotely traditionally regional Mexican I couldn't believe it. No chili salsa, no tomatillo salsa, no hot sauces. They pour white queso over their burrito and call it wet style. The steak taco had quite literally steak and lettuce on it. The most shocking thing that I found was that the most difficult part of my order to cook would be the shrimp yet they were the only thing cooked well out of the entire order. Terrible experience, terrible food. A simple taqueria stand needs good salsas, sauces, tortillas, beans, rice, proteins and vegetables. This place had none of these. And the 5X5 clamshell with 2 ounces of shredded lettuce and an ounce of what I believe was supposed to be pico de gallo was a great touch. Very disappointing to see such a simple concept that thrives all over the country be completely lifeless. If I owned this business and watched those vehicles that were pulling out from behind me to drive off because they were sick of the wait I would have fired all 4 of the incompetent individuals that were pretending to run this operation that had no actual customers in the building or on it's patio. Overpriced and so far off the mark it was actually...
Read moreWent through the drive through last night. Ordered 3 grilled chicken tacos, the menu says grilled or steamed chicken and two burritos. I was served steamed chicken in the tacos. When giving it back saying you made a mistake they said that is grilled chicken as if thinking I am a idiot and can not tell the difference. We also ordered two small sides of cheese sauce and a side of chips. When asked to pay the amount was very very high. I asked to read off the price of everything it all looked good until we got to the $5 for cheese sauce and $5 FOR CHIPS. She said she put in for large cheese and the chips are $5 extra but said "I guess I can throw in the chips". The girl at the window would not listen to a word we said and was more interested in talking with the boys she worked with. After saying I would like beef tacos instead of the chicken I got three tacos so saturated with liquid I could not even eat the tacos and threw them away. This place is not worth the price when they do get it right for starters and now has lost my...
Read moreFood is good if you get enough on your taco…service was terrible. I ordered over the phone to go. We ordered 24 tacos. the employee the. asked me over the phone if I would like them to include any habanero and jalapeño sauce along with it. I said, yeah 3 each. And she said how many of the salsas do you think and I said “I don’t know, however many you think we need for 24 tacos i guess.” She responded with “alright your total will be $54 and xxx cents.” We get to the window and she goes “is it fine your total was calculated wrong, it is $72.50” then we get to the WHY it was changed. She gave us 11 tiny sauce containers of the habanero and jalapeño sauces charging us $1 per tiny container of sauce. NEVER at any Mexico food place whether taco truck or restaurant have we ever been charged for tiny sauce containers, and and not only that but it was not communicated. We handed them back all of those extra sauces. Then top it all off with 80% of our 24 tacos only have 1 piece of meat, we definitely didn’t order vegetarian! ...
