We were so excited for Jersey Mike's to come to Albertville and I want them to stay, so I will give a 4 star review but I will be somewhat critical. Subs have always tasted great so 5 stars for that but I've had two negative experiences with pickup. The first time my order was definitely switched with someone else's. I ordered a turkey wrap and received a vegetarian sandwich. I'm not knocking vegetarians as I was primarily vegetarian myself for several years, but I was depending on my turkey wrap to have enough calories to get me through dinner at work. I had to go buy an additional dinner on my break as a result because the vegetarian sub, while quite good, did not fill me up at all. Luckily this was addressed via Jersey Mike's customer service in the app and I got a free sub for next time. The second bad experience I had, I ordered pickup for 12:15 to get on my way to work. I arrived around 12:20, pickup was still not ready, and waited 10 additional minutes for it to be ready. I ended up being late to work. I allowed myself plenty of time and would have still made it to work on time if the sub had been ready 5-10 minutes late. 15 was just unacceptable in this case. I love Jersey Mike's, I will be back to this location again, but just be aware that your pickup order may not be on time or correct. Hopefully they will read this feedback and correct the issues!

Read moreI ordered a sandwich for the pickup window during my lunch break on June 5th. I requested gluten free bread and accommodations to ensure no cross contamination would occur, as I have MANY other times in the past without any issues. I arrived at the window at the time indicated on my email. After waiting for 10 minutes for the vehicles in front of me it was my turn. He asked for my name and closed the window. I watched them make sandwiches. They were obviously very busy. I see the sandwich maker start putting sandwiches from the regular prep line into bags. She opened the window and handed me mine. I just watched her make mine with the same knife, same gloves, same work surface and same bins as the regular sandwiches causing mine to be cross contaminated. I asked her if mine was made in the separate area designated for gluten free orders and told her that I have celiac and it was very important. She lied straight to my face and said that it was. I was late to get back from my lunch break, so I did not have time to address the issue. I am appalled that she would lie directly to me. The staff needs better training on the seriousness of celiac and how it is unprofessional and dangerous to lie about it. I understand that there is always a risk. That is not my issue. Read more2nd visit to JM. This restaurant is a horribly orchestrated disaster. Mobile ordered 1 bowl. Over 20 minutes on the first visit and 23 minutes today. Tried pickup window today instead of walking in. 4 cars in line and they allow 1 car to sit at the front window for over 10 minutes, instead of politely asking them to pull around and simply jump back in line so the others waiting can maybe pick up their readied meal. Because of this I leave the line and enter the store to pickup. I watched the minimum 7 employees scatter about with no purpose, except for the grill cook and the lady cutting meat and cheese. Everyone else leaderless. Identical to my first visit. Today’s bowl was served with the provolone cheese on the bottom bowl with hot meat on top. This allowed the cheese to firmly adhere to the bottom of the cardboard bowl. Would have been workable to scrape it off with a fork had they put any silverware in my bag.
