The old world rye sourdough bread and the south valley sourdough are excellent. The savory and sweet empanadas were nice and flaky with delicious fillings. We also enjoyed the cookies a lot. This is a nice local downtown bakery worth buying baked goods from. The prices are also reasonable. However, each time we have visited the lady behind the counter has had an off-putting demeanor. It’s always a bit confusing as to why she seems so annoyed that we want to purchase goods from them.

Fantastic lighting, wood everywhere, plants, gorgeous environment. Really big selection of cookies, breads, and unique pairings. Had the mini pecan and it was perfect; not too sweet but that perfect pecan goo that's just lovely butter. Finally a place that doesn't cut crust with lard! Just beautiful flaky dough. Also had the red chile chocolate and quintuple chocolate cookies. Really nice, great prices, really nice service. Just lovely.

This is a unique bakery! Everything they do is filled with life and love💜. This is real bread that heals the body and gives strength to the body and mind🌱. That's why my husband and I always buy bread here. Having a small business these days is very difficult, so I urge everyone who reads this to support these guys and buy their wonderful bread🙌. Give yourself the opportunity to eat bread that will heal you and your children 💫

I refuse to tell the name of the most delicious cookie I ever ate and will only reveal that it was in fact from here. Mostly out fear that they won’t be there when next I go. It was made by a genius and caused a panic in my mouth. Confusion swept over me for I had never tasted love in cookie form. The softness melted to granules of sweetness evaporated to a memory that lingered well into the next month. I went back. I got to the car and the sack left a grease stain on my seat. Did I care? It could have set the car on fire if I could have one more of those cookies because I ate two before I got home. The other two were surely quaking in the kitchen reading my sinister mind. I am sure other places in the world have cookies with similar ingredients,...

I stumbled across this bakery while researching restaurants in the downtown Albuquerque area. I bake a lot of bread at home and saw that one of the breads made at Bosque was Green Chile Sourdough. I was hooked and stopped in to purchase a loaf. Very glad I did as it is excellent! I had to wait a couple of days to try it as I was traveling. Well worth the wait! Now of course I have to figure out how to make it myself as I live in the Pacific Northwest and it’s just too long of a commute. I’ll have to whip up a batch of Green Chile Stew and serve the bread alongside. I hope to get to the Bosque...

I have travelled the United States extensively, and I make it my mission to try every city’s sourdough. From every single loaf or slice I have tried, Bosque Bakings sourdough loaf is the absolute KING of sourdough. It is PROPER sour and could go on for paragraphs about how good it tastes. Everything from texture, texture, aroma, flavor and anything in between is divine! I would only like a loaf more suited for sandwiches, just because my sandwiches get pretty small towards the end...
