WOW! If your going to a restaurant that offers Hibachi you'd be a fool not to order at least one Hibachi entree, if only for the spectacular show the chefs put on while cooking the dish right before your eyes! We decided to come try out Hibachi One on a whim because the venue we were going to grab a bite at has unreliable hours. So we arrived a bit late in the evening but had no issues being seated, there was a short wait, but that was for the best as it allowed us to know what we wanted to order before we got to the table. Some of the items we wanted to order were out of stock like the green tea ice cream, but our evening still turned out great. We came on a Thursday so we were able to get discounted specialty sushi which was a nice plus. And of course we had Hibachi too, we split a Hibachi dinner with steak and salmon which came with fried rice, noodles, vegetables, soup, and salad. Watching the chef cook everything in front of us (except the salad, soup and sushi) was an amazing sight, balancing a spinning egg on a spatula, making a volcano out of an onion, and more! The food was amazing and worth every dollar, and there was so much we even had leftovers! TLDR: Amazing dinner and cooking performance if you've got the money... $$$ (and bring some cash for your chef).

I always have a good time at any restaurant with a teppan grill and Hibachi One is no different. Usually the only difference between places like this is the chef and how friendly and interactive they are. The chef we got this time was great! Sadly I don't remember his name, but he was friendly, funny, and took great care of us. All of the servers were great as well. They were friendly and very attentive, making sure our drinks were always full. You could tell that everyone else in the restaurant was having a good time too. The only issue I had was with the food. It tasted fine, but was on the bland side. The chef did give everyone extra teriyaki sauce on the side to add more flavor. The other issue with the food was the steak. Before the chef started cooking he asked how everyone would like their steak cooked and everyone said medium. He cooked everyone's steaks well done. It's not a big deal, but it just makes me wonder why they asked the question in the first place. You pay a good amount for your food, but you also get a lot which makes it worth it. It's possible the chef just had an off night so I still recommend eating here.

Good food, good service, nice calm atmosphere. Koi fish in the lobby follow as you walk by. This is a fushion restaurant. Not an authentic Japanese restaurant. I think it's Filipino, with Thai influence particularly in the salad dressing. Good pairings of sweet and savory. I ordered a sushi appetizer with tuna, and a hibachi combo plate with filet mignon, shrimp, and vegetables (broccoli, zucchini, carrots, peppers) it was all very good except for the rice on the combo plate, I think it may have absorbed some plastic flavor from the portion bags. I'm not sure. I was interested in watching the food on the grill, but I was unable to ask, and I was dining alone. But overall this a good place to stop and eat, with very nice clean bathrooms.

So we made reservations for my sons 12th birthday. The food was delicious. The chef was hilarious and super nice, except for our server, his name was Sin. 3 of our guest were a little late and we felt so rushed as he was making rude comments. The WORST part about Sin was.... My son received $50 from his grandfather. My son got up to use the restroom and dropped his money on the way. (My sons fault, totally) but we quickly realized his money was missing and we began looking for it everywhere. Sin was at our table and we asked him if anyone found $50. He then hesitated and said "oh I found money but it was only 30 dollars." He pulled out $50 and handed over $30! The money my son had was folded up so tight that when it fell it would have to be unfolded in order to separate. He looked so guilty and kept telling us to look for it under our table. I spoke with the manager who was nice but said the server told him he only found $30 so there wasn't much he could do. I was sad for my son that his $50 turned to $30 but I couldn't prove who took it. As we were finishing up and putting our food in boxes I asked if my son would receive his dessert before we left. He said yes hold on. He returned with melted chocolate ice cream and didn't even give my son the option of their 3 desserts like I was told when making reservations. I was also told they would sing him happy birthday. When I asked sin if they could sing him happy birthday, he bluntly said "NO I do NOT sing I just bring dessert!" So on our way out I asked the lady at the front desk if they are supposed to sing him happy birthday. She said "yes of course" I told her about our experience and she said "I'm so sorry and it's his job to sing happy birthday, we will talk with him." At this point I was so furious. Not only did my son feel robbed of his birthday money but his birthday wasn't even acknowledge at all. I hate to rate so poor when the only problem was one server but it was an awful experience due to Sin being rude and realizing he kept $20 of the money he found. He didn't even tell us he found money when he seen us looking for it, we had to ask! Like I said the food was delicious, the rest of the staff was great but our entire dinner was ruined when we lost money and had a rude server. As long as sin works there we will not be dining...

Tonight my husband and I got to the establishment a bit earlier than the rest of our party. The waitress showed and mentioned she wasn’t too happy about that. As we were sitting, waiting, we ordered drinks. My husband finished his drink within the first 15 min., although noticed by the waitress, he wasn’t offered a refill until the rest of our company showed. There was 5 of us in our party. We enjoyed our cook and meals were very much delicious but the waitress seemed to be having an off night. She never came to ask if we needed refills on our drinks. She was very unkind to us and others around us. There was a few guys that showed up before us that have never been to hibachi one and weren’t familiar with the way things worked. She was very rude to them. She asked if it was our first time and we replied no- she replied “Good” and sat my husband and I before them even though they were there first. At the completion of our meals we tipped our cook for he was amazing! Although we did tip our waitress as well she wasn’t very happy with the amount we tipped. When she noticed it wasn’t the 18% she thought she would get she made a fuss and openly embarrassed us. She was very loud and rude and said if we cannot afford to tip then next time we should. choose a fast food. 😳. She was really upset and showed us the menu which showed really small that gratuity of 18% would be included for a party of 6 or more (Which we know is normal at restaurants). I explained we were a party of 5 and gratuity was then an option and she didn’t earn that option with the attitude she provided us.I also explained She was not attentive to our needs since we first arrived. She tried playing it off by saying the guys she sat next to us were part of our party as well. Those guys told her they weren’t with us and she hasn’t came by not even once to check on them either. Not sure but that waitress was RUDE, NOT ATTENTIVE, and SHOULDN’T be working a job she’s not happy with. I gave 1 star. The food and cook I gave 5 stars. The service I gave 1 star. If I could I would have given ZERO stars. And the atmosphere I had to give 1 as well because the waitress made the whole...

I made reservations for a birthday dinner, and the booking process was super easy and convenient. When we arrived, there was one seat missing at our table, but we managed to squeeze in without much trouble.

Unfortunately, our server didn’t set a great tone from the start. She seemed irritated and was not very attentive throughout the evening. Several people in our group didn’t receive drink refills, and she checked on us only a couple of times. On a positive note, our chef was fantastic—especially with the two kids in our party. He made the experience fun and engaging for them.

The issue came when we received the bill. We were charged $8 each for margaritas that are listed as $6 on the Sunday specials menu. When I pointed this out, the server got defensive and asked me to show her. I opened the menu and showed her where both margaritas and Bloody Marys were listed under the $6 Sunday specials. She insisted the discount only applied to Bloody Marys and said, “We don’t do that anymore.” I explained that if it’s still on the menu, that’s confusing and not the customer’s fault.

She spoke with her manager and returned with a new total written by hand on the same receipt, which made me uneasy—it wasn’t clear if it would be processed correctly. This also impacted the automatic gratuity, which I wasn’t thrilled about. We had two small children in our group, and most restaurants don’t count kids toward the gratuity threshold. I had planned to tip regardless, but given the lackluster service, the automatic charge didn’t sit well with me.

I plan to go back, but I’d request a different server if I...
