The BEST Chile Rellenos this side of Dodge! I gave up on places like Los Cuates, Garcias, etc., at approx. $18 a plate and where they've decided to serve their customer's watered down chile and items from cans. You can't go wrong with a true "Mom and Pa" place like this with good dining prices to boot! The average is $10 to $12 a plate with sides of Spanish Rice, Refried Beans, and a tortilla or sopa! This is the kind of place you went to if you wanted a meal that was "made like it was made at home" back in the day. There are not too many places like this left. This place may not be a chain; but that's part of the appeal. Don't get this place confused with the other El Mariachi behind the hill - 8 million miles away - at Cedar Crest - where you'll shell out all your good money for "Mexican" food and pay extra for gas. Try THIS El Mariachi's Chile Relleno plate. Their Indian Taco is to kill for....
Read moreI love this place!!! ALL is the food is prepared fresh, never frozen. Their hand rolled taquitos and homemade salsa are my latest obsession! The prices are lowest than any other local or chain restaurant. They could charge more, but they don't! If you love chile rellenos, this place has the best, hands down! Crispy batter with chile on top....mmmm.
They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also cater, just ask for the menu. Again, rock bottom prices. Its amazing! You'll see.
The dining area is very clean, well lit and overall simple. Not for a romantic date. I usually get take-out at the very last minute, before closing, and they have always happily accommodated me. Cash and card accepted. They offer gift...
Read moreAmazing!!!!! I don't even know where to start. Small, clean , and peaceful is how I would describe my first impression. It's like walking downstairs to the kitchen and your favorite food is cooking. Amazing.... my husband had the huevos rancheros, says hands down the best ever. I have the beef stuffed sopapilla. Wow, I kept eating and couldn't stop. Flavors burst with every bite. This is a golden gem . We love everything about El Mariachi and can't...
