Filiberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Update to respond to the owner: fixing it would’ve been replacing my order or giving me a refund, not telling me “I can’t just give you free food.” It wasn’t free, it was paid for, overpriced and lacking quality. Don’t worry about replacing it now, id rather have a refund but really fixing issue doesn’t seem to be your vibe. We will never return and risk our hard earned money on lackluster food.

And any patrons reading: don’t waste your time or money. You can see my review and photos if you like. It wasn’t just 3 tacos, it was TWELVE!

Spent $30 to feed my family last night to receive lettuce and cheese tacos. I usually go to Eubank and have never been disappointed. Saw this one and decided to give it a try. As another reviewer stated, $.50 more at this location to be highly disappointed. Will not return to this location. I’d rather put that 50 cents in gas and make the trip to get consistent delicious food. This location just opened and maybe that’s the issue, but i live off of tips. I made spent all my tips for the day to get this and be told “well we can’t just give you free food.” Granted, I took the risk of trying this location but the management didn’t seem too keen on trying to fix it. This was seriously the worst experience I have ever had with Filiberto’s!! It was a new establishment in the area, closer to home so we didn’t have to go for the regular drive. Figured let’s give them a try. First thing, the tacos on special cost more, ok! Maybe they are better in some way. No Way!! First bite and last bite of every taco was shell. And what was in the taco was a pinch of meat lettuce and cheese!! Seriously Regretted Not Going For The Drive!! They only gave us two sauces, 1 red 1 green. At first for twelve tacos was ridiculous but after passing out those tacos it made sense for their expectations of how much sauce was adequate. I called to speak with the manager, Isaiah. So he said he was the manager. Doubt if that was even his name. I wanted to share this experience and all he said was he would talk with the cooks he didn’t check the food that was prepared so he doesn’t know what went out. In no way did he try to make this better. I’ve been in the service industry and this was by far the worst customer service and food service that I have ever experienced.
