Ordered the kimchi cucumber as a starter with topokki and a grilled chicken plate. Also, some drinks come in a can or bottle. Kimchi cucumber: taste was fabulous as the cucumbers had the right amount of crunch and thickness, and the spiciness of the gochugaru was on point and not too spicy. I recommend this as a starter! Topokki: served in a big flat bowl with assorted topokki. The spicy gochujang sauce is amazing. All this is topped off with a boiled egg and a good size portion of food. Recommend this dish. Grilled chicken: This dish comes with steamed white rice, mixed vegetables (cabbage, carrots, broccoli) and chicken that is served already sliced up. I think the vegetables are pre-steamed before they are tossed on a hot flattop grill. I recommend to just leave them steamed because the vegetables that came to me were a little burnt and a bit dry. As for the chicken, I can only speculate that the chicken is cooked on a flattop grill. Recommend you actually grill the chicken to get a little char as well but do the whole chicken piece instead of getting cooked up like a hibachi grill.
Overall: Enjoyed this place and I recommend for others to experience on their own. Keep up the good work and look forward...
Read moreMy wife and I are always willing to try new places. We do like Asian Pear, but it is a drive and their food can be oily. We tried K-Style on a recommendation. WE WILL BE BACK. The owners are super, super nice and the son is the cook and boy is he good! We tried the Bibimbap which is a chicken or beef style bowl. The egg was done perfect. We tried the stir fry noodle bowl with beef and they use a delicious ramen style noodle. We tried the beef fried rice and it was delicious. I also tried their wings which come in four different flavors. The soy, garlic wings are to die for and the wings are huge. Six wings is a meal. I also tried their K-2 which is a spicier version of their original. The heat will make you sweat, but it doesn't overtake the flavor. It was almost like a habanero orange chicken. So good. Their food was not oily or greasy. Very fresh. The beef and chicken was tender and moist. The soy/garlic sauce they use on their wings and in some dishes is soooooo good you want to swim in it. You won't be disappointed. I hope to see these owners with a bigger place in the future. It is nice to finally have a delicious Korean restaurant on...
Read moreSimply put the food here is absolutely delicious. I ordered the wings as well as a beef bibimbap. If chicken wings are on the menu at just about any restaurant, I will order them. As such I’ve had the wings from countless establishments in the Albuquerque area. I can honestly say the wings at K Style Kitchen might be the best. They certainly aren’t your traditional buffalo wings and that is just fine. The breading on the wings was extremely crispy while the meat remain juicy and tender. At the same time the wings were completely coated in a delicious sauce with a hint of heat. Keeping the wings well sauced while maintaining a crispy breading is a challenge. K Style Kitchen absolutely nailed it. The green onion garnish on the wings sealed the deal for me. You can tell this was a well developed, well thought out recipe with flawless execution. My only regret is that I was too full to try the beef bibimbap and will have to save it for the morning. I have no doubt it will be delicious. I will certainly be...
