KFC — Restaurant in Albuquerque

You know, I feel bad for the individuals that work at this KFC Location... I am sure they are super underpaid and not appreciated by their leadership team.

I got food at this KFC location (Manual and San Mateo - ABQ) on 5/20 - and not one component to the fast-food chain store was to satisfactory needs. I hate talking down to any company, especially the ones I love and enjoying eating at - such as KFC... but this one location really needs improving...

I waited, in the drive-thru line, for about 15 mins, and I was the 3rd car back from the person ordering. After 15 mins the car ordering then moved forward... so I was in line for about 25 mins before my order was taken. My order came out to $20; the food was cold and stale, the original chicken was very dry, and on top of that, there was a strange odor coming from the bag from which my food was resting -- after that, my appetite was gone. Money and time wasted for nothing... I really hope KFC doesn't go out of business because it sure seems like that is where the company is going... I was trying to stay original but from now on I will be going to Canes or some other fried chicken place because KFC just isn’t it...

I had a very disappointing experience at the KFC on San Mateo. Not only did they forget the sauces that were supposed to come with our order, but the gravy container was not sealed properly and spilled all over the chicken tenders box and the inside of our car. By the time we got home, the food was a mess and completely unappetizing.

When we brought the issue to their attention, the staff — including Joceline — were rude, dismissive, and showed no concern for the mistake or the inconvenience. There was no apology, no offer to fix the situation, and absolutely no sense of customer service.

For a company of this size, the lack of care, quality control, and basic courtesy is unacceptable. I don’t plan on returning, and I would not recommend this location to anyone expecting decent service or properly...

I went to this place for a late lunch today and went through driveup. The service was horrible. When they acknowledged my presence, they took 5 min to take my order. Not only in a rude manner, but very unprofessional. I ordered a 20$ box. It was packed awful. The food was thrown in the box with everything scattered. Biscuits crushed and the fries were super stale and hard. The man at the drive through was rude. Waited another 10 minutes for order which wasn't even fresh for that long if a wait! I don't understand why we pay money for service and then be treated this way. I should have gone to the one on Louisiana and Central. With that location being in the ghetto, I bet the service may be a bit more appreciative. Skip this place on Menaul. They don't value your service! Stale food. Hard fries. Presentation of theor food...
