Top 3 for Ramen in Albuquerque for me.
💫🫵🤘
Tested family Friday night date: order in, a blowup matress, all the blankets and pillows in the backyard or bed of a pickup and enjoy under the stars together, perfect comfort food with music. My Hubby got a projector and we watched a movie and ate. 💫🌌🌠
As for why your food is magical to me: It is Consistently delicious, EVERY TIME. I have ordered in house or through Doordash. Consistency Matters.
Feeling and tasting the depth in your brother with nothing in, is healing. The consistency you must have in hand pulling the noodles, is the same reason your establishment is undervalued (good, screw em, more for us! 😉) and understudied. 🤍 Thank you for the work you all put in that nobody sees to bring traditions that you chose to keep alive and share with us. I see you!
My Always Haves:
Black Garlic Ramen. WOW! Smell, and sip and savor the broth first. Warm, deep, and punches your senses in the face. Very Aromatic and light tasting. This soup Sits heavy so I reccomend from experience eating less animal like, eat slowly. 🙃🤭
Noodles are sticky and thick. I cut in half and put remainder in fridge. You can order extra broth and its more delicious the next day heated up. Stir and don't ever heat. 😇
I also have made a stir fry with this juice and leftover ingredients. Delicious. You could call it "Sauna Ramen" more of a stir fry or steam in same yummy broth with added ingredients leftovers. 😝
Crab Rangoon: #1 for me as a globally traveled food & people lover. 🤍 This appetizer will likely induce childlike bickering over who gets the last one. Order 2 and thank me later. 😉
Pad Thai: TMI story for the Karen's: Look away! *Bridesmaids voice * I got a stomach bug in Thailand and my last meal (not the culprit, don't start) was Pad Thai (amazing btw).
Upward tasting 🤮, is why I hadn't eaten Pad Thai in 10 years. You have one like that, too? WIERD! 😝
Then I had YOUR, Pad Thai. Hallelujah! 💫💭💥 No traumatic exorcism throw up trigger! Woo hoo!! 🤠🥳
The word for your Pad Thai is: Delicate. Delicately cut noodles (scissors? Hands? Magic? Or maybe it's Maybeline...).
Delicately 1/4thd lime, peanuts crushed finely and lightly tossed in Pad Thai power, for flavor.
Pan seared Pork/Beef Bao: Delicious. Something about the beef Bao brings me back to a distant memory of eating something similiar as a child. Pork is more tender and juicy inside. Beef Bao has better flavor, sometimes can be more dry. Still incredibly delicious and soaks up Ramen broth beautifully. There is no wrong pick. *Level Up by hiding from your children and spouses, find a quiet place, dip this in any broth that comes out of that kitchen, and that's umami and soul. 🌌
Edamame is always a must have and can be slightly opened and spoon in/soak in some Ramen broth, too. 😜
Could say so much more but this was it for today!

Read moreMy husband and I were pretty excited to try this restaurant, as we are severely disappointed with EVERY place we've tried in Albuquerque so far. However, this restaurant was more of the same. It's not even good enough to be called bad Chinese food. That price on the review is PER PERSON, not the entire order. We got two appetizers, two mains, and rice.
The scallion pancakes are very small and flavorless.
The Rangoon shrimp was so sweet it tasted like desert. And there was no evidence of any crab at all. Why was it sweet at all?
The combo fried rice had no egg in it at all and very little seasoning. The single shrimp in it tasted entirely of the sand vein.
The sesame chicken was way overcooked and tough. Tasted like it was going off, which was probably why it was overcooked. Additionally, it was flavorless, except for the going bad flavor.
The broccoli beef had no evidence of ginger or garlic at all, or Shaoxing wine. The broccoli was practically raw, I had to re-cook the dish to make it edible.
The pan fried wide cut noodles were clumpy, not stirred in the boiling pot, and show no evidence of being pan fried. The mushrooms were not stir fried at all. Really gross.
We were given two tiny little cartons of white rice. TINY.
EVERY dish had to be remade after we got home. This meal was not worth $77.43 before tax. If I'd known what to expect, I wouldn't have paid a dime for it.
We will not be returning, and I would actually like a full refund, but that requires me talking to them on the phone and I am so irritated that I don't want to speak to them at all.
I do not recommend...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place. I have been wanting to try it for some time. Went around 7 PM it was pretty slow in there. It was our first time so we had a few questions about the menu. The man taking our order kept interrupting us and talking to another staff member. He Was very rude and not really helpful in terms of our questions. You could just tell the guy really didnt want to be there or talking to anyone. We ordered sesame chicken and black tonkatsu ramen. The portion size for what you pay for the sesame chicken is a joke. I've gone to similar places that you give 3 times as much for the same price and it tastes better. The ramen was so unbelievably salty. The noodles were a bound together ball that were all different sizes and thickness, so the texture for each one was different. I have had hand pulled noodles before and they were never that inconsistent. I couldnt even finish half of it, it was so extremely salty. Only good thing in there was the chashu. I love ramen and would frequent ramen shops when I lived in the bay area. I have eaten it many, many times and from traditional shops. This place is not what it is claiming to be unfortunately. I will not eat here again or recommend it. Rude staff, small...
