Caldera was recommended to me by another store that doesn't work on my type of equipment, so I took in my older model discontinued GK bass amp that had suddenly stopped functioning after giving off a lot of static noises. It took awhile to get the part in, basically parts had gone bad on the main board, and thus a new board had to be built and updated from the factory from scratch, perhaps why it had been discontinued. In any case it was beyond my very limited electronic abilities, But Mateo explained the problem in easily understandable terms and why it took a couple of months to get it all together and working. When I plugged it in and started playing it was better then when it was brand new and it was a great amp then - super clean sound, full functionality and great tonal adjustability for shaping the sound. I ordered vintage ARP Odyssey MKII through a Reverb seller and it sustained a bit of damage during shipping. The seller recommended finding someone local to check it out to avoid shipping it again. Obviously, not a lot of people work on machines like this. Found Caldera online, and it looked like the place to go. As it turns out, it was absolutely the place to go. I brought in a keyboard for repair. Since I hadn’t heard back in three weeks, I went to get it out of the shop. “He tells I haven’t had time to look at it. Let me do a quick diagnostic.
