LALA COFFEE & TEA — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I found this place on a Google search and spent the afternoon doing some computer work. I don't recommend the iced tea as it is not made there but some sort of purchased nastiness. However the cupcake was yummy and everyone buying smoothies.or boba seemed very happy and those drinks looked good. When I'd been there a while, they brought me a water too, without asking. I mentioned I didn't like the tea and she brought me a different kind which I tried to refuse but she insisted. I wasn't up to trying it but took it home (it's sealed) so maybe my kid will like it. Did not see any of the coffee drinks but it was evening when I was there. They obviously have regulars and the place is huge and quiet and super clean. I will be back as it's a great place to get things done and not crazy busy like some of the more popular coffee shops. No more iced tea but I'll try something else next time. Met a friend here and I loved it! They got a nice variety of options for drinks and a bit of food. The avocado smoothie was a wonderful surprise. They even give you options of level of sweetness you like. Mine was perfect at 10%. So delicious that I had one there while visiting and took 2 home to share one with someone. And he liked it too. The owners are very attentive, even if language may be a bit of a challenge. Do not get put-off by that, nor the outside look. All you have to so is point at the menu item, or use translation app. (I believe they speak Mandarin?). Stopped by this morning while waiting for hubby to get out of an appointment. I was craving a boba and none were open yet other than here, and it was close. So happy I did!!

I ordered the Thai boba with little sugar and an acai bowl with no granola (I'm gluten free). Belinda, the owner, was so sweet and made that right up. Everything looked SO good - the baked goods looked amazing. The restaurant was just beautiful as well. The fruit in the acai bowl was super fresh, huge blueberries, and just so amazing!
