Update 9/19/2024 Everything I mentioned before still applies with one exception! No longer can I say they are fast, in fact if you go to the drive up, I suggest you go with a full tank of gas! Twice in the past week it took over 15 minutes for them to deliver two enchilada platters. Something that used to take 5 minutes now takes 3 to 4 times that amount of time. When we queried what the hold up was we were informed they had numerous on-line orders. Apparently, on-line orders get filled before people physically already in line. I love Twisters, I hate their new business model. It will be awhile before I try them again. (I guess the grumpy old man won after all!) ++++++++++++++ When you are looking for a quick bite or a full meal this may be the place for you. Their staff is fast, friendly and more important 'accurate'. Nothing is more aggravating to me than to bring your takeout food home only to find it wrong! But not to worry here, over a period of three months, they have yet to make a single error in our orders. What's more the lines have not been unbearably long. They are not lighting fast, but they are fast enough to quite my hungry stomach while waiting. I recommend this twisters and will be going back again, and again........ no doubt! As I get older, I try not to let that grumpy old man...
Read moreThis review is for the 5501 Montgomery location only. I've been to other Twisters locations in the past and they were always good... but that was precovid. Maybe they have gone downhill. I'm not a big fast food fan, but had been craving enchiladas for the past few weeks, so offered to take my son to twisters when he was over to visit me because I knew they had at least one vegetarian chili. When we pulled up in the parking lot the place looked closed but Google had said they were open so we went in...and I still wasn't sure. There were no customers....at around six in the evening! Hmmm. And the one guy behind the counter seemed to have zero interest in waiting on us. I asked him if they were open. I had to ask twice as he seemed confused by the question or something. He was very unprofessional when taking our order, and I had to prompt him to go ask the cook when I had a question about the chilli that he didn't know the answer to. When our order came out I found that for my enchiladas the tortillas were tough and the cheese wasn't even melted. To their credit my son said his burger wasn't bad, but I don't think I'll go back to this location. They have a lot to work on. Judging by the lack of customers during the normally busy dinner hours I must not be the only one who...
Read moreAleah was the rudest person in that place. She spoke to the employees horribly, she seemed flustered as if she didn’t know what she was doing. This is crazy to see from an assistant manager as they are 2nd in line to take over the store. This was one of my worst visits to twisters as the morality of the employees seemed low due to Aleah bad talking to them and putting them down. She seems far too young, irresponsible, and immature to be an assistant manager in my opinion. I went in Thursday at around 7:30-7:40pm and a young man had came and helped take my order and get me drinks. While he was getting my drinks I overheard Aleah speaking to him in one of the most disrespectful and immature tones/voice I have ever heard from an assistant manager. I did not get to clearly hear the conversation as the young man stayed quiet, I heard Aleah cursing at him calling him names such as “stupid” and “dumb”. Please do better twisters this is why kids don’t want to work because of horribly managers...
