My first experience here was amazing Miguel and able are awesome very helpful made sure my order was correct a few different times not to get it wrong which is awesome. I got the California burrito and asked for the hot Cheetos on the side because it comes inside the burrito and they made sure to ask again if I wanted the hot Cheetos on the side, the California burrito 10 out of 10 my personal preference I like the hot Cheetos on the side better than in the burrito, but that was just me the meat sauce fries onions salsa everything was great Also, on a sidenote, the burrito was not too greasy from the meat which sometimes happens at other places, so I Really enjoyed the meat. It was not too greasy and not fatty at all. Very good flavor. Also me Miguel gave me a sample of their birria was amazing. I will be getting the Birria tacos the next time I come again recommend you try this place out that’s just my Humble opinion

For National Hotdog day I decided to try the new @dogosvip that opened on Montgomery and San Pedro. Guys, they have birria tacos and birria hot dogs! If you don't know what birria is, it is beef that has been cooked in a stew for hours until it is so tender that it shreds with just tongs. Then soft tortillas are filled with the meat, sprinkled with the broth, and grilled on a grill or in a skillet. Then the remaining broth is put in a cup and topped with white onions and cilantro. You dip the tacos in the consume and enjoy! Look it up on YouTube, you can thank me later. But back to the hot dogs! Beef dog wrapped in bacon topped with slow cooked beef birria, red onion, cilantro, crispy onion, crema, queso, jalapeño sauce! I cannot even begin to describe how delicious it was! I inhaled it, you are lucky you got pictures. If you are in Albuquerque then I highly suggest grabbing a hot dog!

I truly want to give them 5 starts, not only for the food but for the service. We ordered the Birria Nachos (pictured), two queso birria tacos, one carne asada taco (for my toddler) and a hot dog. My husband said the young lady working the register didn’t charge us for the Asada Taco after my husband mentioned it was for my son. Little gestures like that make the world of a difference so thank you. Everything tasted so great. Meat was juicy, flavorful and the consomé for the birria is delicious as well. We’ve been here before and we’ve loved it each time. We come all the way from Los Lunas to eat here. 100% recommend eating here if you’re not sure where to go.

Review: Dogos VIP : A Must-Try Spot in ABQ Dogos VIP is an absolute gem in Albuquerque. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly service from Miguel and Adrian, who went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. We ordered the birria tacos, and let me just say, these are the best we've had in ABQ, no contest. The meat was tender and juicy, the tortillas had just the right amount of crunch, and the consomé was rich, flavorful, and clean tasting, no greasy aftertaste, just pure satisfaction. The salsas? Absolutely amazing. Each one brought a different kick and complemented the food beautifully. We also tried the California burrito, which was an explosion of flavor in every bite. Every ingredient came together perfectly, it was bold, delicious, and deeply satisfying. We were so caught up enjoying the food that we completely forgot to take pictures (a true millennial fail!). That says a lot, because I'm usually not easily impressed most food spots in ABQ have left me disappointed. But not Dogos VIP. They’ve truly raised the bar, both in taste and service. Now, while I do have a raving review, I won’t overhype it. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side (but be honest, all food even groceries are expensive so it's not unreasonable) and the portions could be a little more generous but when you compare it to the ridiculously overpriced, bland, and sad food that dominates most of ABQ, this place delivers. Oh, and don't forget about their desserts ,you won't regret it. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go. This place delivers on...

Great atmosphere walking into that place every time. Greeted with kindness, and in a respectful manner, the gentleman migeul was polite and was knowledgeable about his profession and his out of work topics. There's always something on the tvs to entertain on all levels of genre. The music was calm and low enough to hear everything around you still. The food was great, I had 6 birra tacos with cilantro and onions without cheese, then an additional 4 tacos with chesse with a horchata, dragon fruit lemonade, and consume added on. The meat was fresh and well cooked. The vegetables were also fresh and no overbearing or overloading of the vegetables, just the right amount. The red sauce was my favorite part full of flavor with the perfect amount of heat. I definitely will be coming back for more of the red sauce. What really got me to come back for a 2nd time, and it was just for a quick drink visit, and that was the horchata. It is smooth, full of flavor, and doesn't have all the extra pulp or cinnamon grits. It's filtered out to perfection. I did ask for light ice, and to my request, it was the perfect amount of ice. The dragon fruit lemonade is highly recommended, and we will be coming back even if it's for a quick drink stop cheaper than Starbucks

Being honest, like the owner said to be, I say the corn tortillas could be a bit crisper. The green sauce that comes with the tacos isn't my partake, but I did give it a try, and it was fresh. im sure there's people out there...
