Teriyaki Chicken Bowl — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Worst customer service ever! Went through drive-thru first to pick up food for a vegetarian friend, and asked for a “veggie bowl”—which wasn't on the menu. I was told that I could order separate sides of vegetables and rice. I then requested they put both sides in the same bowl and the young lady taking the order said, “that's against our policy.” I laughed, because I thought she was joking, but she insisted. I then asked if I could order the chicken bowl without chicken, and her answer was still no. I asked if I could have the chicken bowl, and have the chicken put in a separate to-go container. Again, no. I cursed. The young lady completely stopped responding. Determined, I had to go inside, where I ordered from an man in his late twenties— but again given the same responses to my seemingly simple requests. In no way would they agree to put the chicken in a cheap styrofoam to-go contain, separate from the rice and veggies. I even offered to pay extra for the additional container — still no. I argued, then ordered the two sides and left. If it hadn't been for a friend, I would've just left. Any establishment that prizes their ‘policies’ over their customers service doesn't deserve our money... And by the look of this place they don't have a loyal or sizeable customer base, as the large seating area was mostly empty at 12:30. They deserve to be run out of town. This TCB sucks! Stay away. Please eat...

This place rocked. Covid obviously made it close, but the food was always good and always fresh.

I hope they come back. It sucks what Covid did to Restaurants like Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. This place was a neighborhood favorite. And now it's gone. It's just, it's just a sad statement of how we have to deal with the terrible multinational corporations, and the local franchises that were successful couldn't survive.

Now instead of Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, we're over saturated with Panda Express and other garbage food that is over priced and has no where near the authenticity that Teriyaki...
