Seoul Gimbap — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I’m so happy that we have authentic Korean/Japanese food in Albuquerque! The food is so delicious, I recommend getting each flavor of onigiri they have to try it out to find your favorites to reorder (they have soy sauce beef bulgogi, spicy Korean BBQ pork, tuna mayo, and spicy tuna mayo). My favorites are the bulgogi and pork! Their bibimbap bowls have huge portions for such a good price and their kimchi is SO flavorful. I heard they’re going to be releasing some vegan options in the future too so I’m stoked to see what they have in store! This place is legit. Very tasty onigiri/ jumeokbap. The rice is well cooked and the rice-to-filling ratio is generous. The spicy pork, bulgogi, spicy tuna mayo, and regular tuna mayo fillings were all tasty, and I’d get them all again. The spicy fillings weren’t too over the top spicy, either. The guy at the counter was also super nice.

Two rice balls at $5 each makes for a decent light lunch, imo.

My new favorite place! The onigiri is delicious and freshly made. The owner is super sweet and wonderful. Supplies run out fast, but the food is well worth the wait. ❤️

For the owner: Thank you for testing out your new menu item with me in addition to my order. It was FANTASTIC! The combination of the fatty pork was perfect with the sauce. My only suggestions may be to add some toppings to make it a more varied ricebowl--such as a fried egg, spring onions, or sesame seeds on top.
