I have been frequenting Vick's daily cafe since I was in high school and to put a little age on Myself I'll just let you know I graduated in 2004.
The first time I went to Vic's daily cafe I was very impressed with not only the service but the quality of the service the atmosphere as well as the fact that both mister vic and mister Andy were always there working what seemed to be just as hard as everyone else...
Since those days and even in those days I should say I have introduced many people to the restaurant and seen it grow exponentially I would recommend making sure you get there early if you're going on a Sunday and I always recommend the Vic's breakfast burrito but there are so many choices and I don't think you can go wrong with any one of them.
One of the first times I went toVic's cafe was with one of the main or I should just say with 1 of the pastors from the calvary chapel and his son Nathan who is now 1 of the primary Leaders other people like the Popers, And Even my varsity hope Christian soccer team periodid I absolutely adore this place and I have family on the East Coast who crave it just as much as I do and request it every time they come in town whether it's been a few months or a few years.
I haven't been able to go as often due to finances however I was pleasantly surprised when I went and called in my order and I was greeted with A Kind person on the other end taking my order, I have had several brain injuries , not the greatest with communication... But I have always had nothing but positive things to say not only like I said about the owners but the staff and then Of course the food it seems like they really pour their heart and soul into service ingredients food and experience, They have the best chili in my opinion hands down it's more of a chili sauce And it is made so well! My mouth is watering I gotta stop writing this...
I wanted to say thank you to Vic and to everyone in the staff Uber there for always being so kind to myself as well as others who have come in on my recommendation they don't know them or they don't know me from Adam half the time however I'm always treated with a smile and the same respect I would Expect.
The establishment has grown and with it there's been some remodeling and some new outdoor seating however I'm very happy to say that the quality of the food if anything has only gotten better service is wonderful as well still and As I said I don't get to go very often anymore but I just went On Sunday and I was happy I called in my Vic burrito smothered with green, Because otherwise you will be waiting for AC most likely if you go on a Sunday it is definitely a happening place but that's because it's worth it.
I could go on and on about all the positive things I've experienced here... But I think I've said enough thank you all for continuing to make wonderful food But also memories! I have never ordered anything that I didn't like is one last thing I will say and you might not know it at the time but there's oftentimes when the owner will be seating you himself so enjoy if you're thinking about going I recommend it...

Vic's daily Cafe was at just what I hoped for, a local diner with a delightful Homespun feel, but with professional high quality food.
I got eggs benedict oh, and my wife had almond crusted French toast with a lemon curd. Both were fantastic! See photos below.
They were busy, but they have enough space that they could seat us in a very reasonable amount of time. I think we may have waited 5 or 10 minutes. Considering that they had a lot of traffic at that time, they did a great job of getting us to a table.
Our waitress was very cheerful, very helpful, and seemed genuinely excited to see us there. That was nice. It made us feel right at home.
The eggs Benedict was a delight. It had a thick slice of ham instead of Canadian bacon which I like. Also, the eggs were poached pretty well, if only slightly overdone. That didn't detract from the meal at all. They also have a crab benedict that seems to be the favorite for this restaurant. I wanted to try the classic, and I'm glad I did. It's one of my favorites. And, they did a great job of it. It was a real winner.
My wife got almond crusted French toast with lemon curd, and it was inspired. Covered in fresh fruits, this French toast didn't need any syrup and had a light dusting of powdered sugar to add a little sweetness. It went well with the tart sweet lemon curd that was in the center of the plate.
Of course, there was coffee. It was good. I'd say it was diner coffee as opposed to Coffee House Coffee, but I drink 3 cups of it. It was exactly what I needed to pair with this meal.
I mentioned wait staff already, but I'll talk about them again. Everyone I interacted with was extremely polite, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure that I had a great meal.
I can't wait to go back! I'd like to bring my adult children and have a multi-family breakfast, or brunch there soon.
Next time I go back, I'd like to try the corn beef hash. That's another classic that seems to be one of this restaurants go to meals. We also saw several people order chicken fried steak and eggs. That looked so good! I'd love to try that. And we saw a lot of people order what I think was Navajo rancheros. It looks like huevos rancheros, but instead of tortillas it was on fry bread. I don't think you could strike out with any of these meals.
