The staff (not all of them) have a pretty negative attitude. The ones that are not Christianās are the nicest (believe it or not)! It throws off the vibe quite a bit and to be honest rude people working at a church coffeeshop is just a bad witness. They donāt treat everyone that way, they are certainly nice to people they prefer. Drinks and food are great but as Christians we are called to a higher standard. Loving your neighbor does not mean to appear looking miserable while taking a customers order or making a drink. This is on a daily occurrence. Iāve had better customer service from secular coffee shops. They have no customer service and act like itās an inconvenience to do their job. Iām not just a random customer Iām here often. This is my home church. Iām even embarrassed to bring folks here because Iām afraid they will be treated poorly just by ordering a coffee. Iāve held back writing this for 2 years. Please, please, learn that the Joy of the Lord does not mean being...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe first two times I went here, I had a good cappuccino. the quality of the coffee and drive-through convenience made me ignore the price per oz (which was definitely steep). I also like that it was supporting a local church. The past three times, however, I have not had a good experience and will most likely not be back.
An espresso shot with a dollop of over-steamed milk on top is not a cappuccino. They don't even use enough milk, so the cup was only a third filled. The baristas need retraining. Maybe they need to be brought to a few of the great local coffee spots and made to drink some of the more experienced baristas versions of the drink? Who knows...figure it out, let me know, and I'll come give it another try.
Side note: they really need to get a better sign as very few people are even aware they are there and a tree literally blocks the view from the back entrance. Their signage in other places should highlight that it is a drive-through location...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreā⨠This hidden gem is tucked inside the church campus, but donāt think āstuffyā or "exclusive" ... the vibe is pure magic. The patio alone is worth the trip! A dreamy escape draped and shaded by storybook trees and lush vines that make you forget youāre anywhere near a parking lot. Inside? Bright, modern, and impossibly cute, like Pinterest met a boutique cafĆ©. Loved the milk steamer for the kiddo and their tea selection is impressive (and delicious), the chai is perfection, and the matcha⦠well, it might just convert the skeptics. Between these cozy bookstore vibes, the warm welcome, and the patio that feels like a secret garden, this place is my new happy place. 10/10! I would totally sip, stroll, and...
